Not good. Meh, 🫤
Entertaining!. A new adult thriller from the talented Ms. Romig. I really enjoyed the whole of this story, Rae, a struggling college student gets a job at the country club where “monsters lurk in expensive suits behind million-dollar smiles”, mystery surrounding the death of a previous employee, plus the sweet beginnings of a new relationship. Multiple POV from different characters gives you insight into the mystery. I loved the different and interesting characters. Although I did enjoy the book, it felt a little rushed, plus the romance was tame compared to most of Ms. Romig’s previous books. I would definitely like to see more of this type of story from Ms. Romig!
On The Edge. On The Edge is a great and suspenseful thriller. It’s written from different characters’ points of view however, it blends together nicely as it provides a better understanding of the storyline. Although this book is a quick read, it has depth and the angst had me on edge. And the ending floored me, justice is served and it ends just as it should have.
