Soooo Good!!. Loved it!! Suspense, action, love and happily ever after!! Kept me engaged the whole time. Didn’t even put it down, finished it the same day!

Amazing!. I absolutely loved this book! I usually don’t leave reviews, but I had to this time! Ronan and Willow’s story is equal parts sweet and sass, and the strong feelings they share practically leap off the page! I can’t wait to read more by this author!

Suspense with a little bit of steam, but a bit predictable. This was a good start to a new series and I enjoyed reading it, for the most part. Willow and Ronan are a sweet couple and it was pretty low in angst, even if they had a bit of an enemies-to-lovers thing going on in the beginning. I also have mixed feelings about whether or not this was more of a slow burn or a fast burn because it took them a while to acknowledge their feelings, but once they did, things moved pretty quickly. And for those of you who like spice like me, there are two explicit scenes but they're both pretty brief. There wasn't anything in the book that I really disliked or thought didn't work, but it also didn't blow me out of the water. This is a romantic suspense/thriller and it did hit that note, but I found it pretty predictable; avid readers of the genre might not care for it. And this is a very minor point but I found it weird that Willow's dad thought it was important she learn how to protect herself but she didn't know self-defense. Anyway, all in all, it was a fine read and it was nice to read a romantic suspense novel that didn't have a couple that was constantly fighting. I enjoyed it and I hope that Zeke's about to get a book as I was really intrigued by his character. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Ahhhhhh. I absolutely loved this book. I couldn’t put it down.

A GREAT ONE••. Yes, this is a great book, & the beginning of an even better series. Knowing that the man who will hopefully save the love of his life from being killed. Now what the bodyguard does not know is that the man he is hired 2 protect has been completely in love with him most of his adult life & some before. And for just as many years the bodyguard has completely, passionately HATED the man he is being paid 2 protect. There is a fine line between love & hate. It's called sex. The kind of sex where your fantasy becomes reality as you’re being pounded into the mattress AGAIN. I loved this book because it's the beginning of a fantastic series. Trace Dial

The King 👑🚨. Thank you Ms Rivers for allowing me to read this book about Ronan and Willow. It was a good read for your first attempt at a Bodyguard/ Security with suspense story, and I look forward to reading ‘The Veteran’. This story was about the Lennox Security firm which is run by Willow’s older brother Tom and King’s Security which is run by Ronan and his friends Kade and Zeke. I enjoyed the underlying story for these two characters and the side characters were interesting too; especially Sage, Kade, and Zeke. It was unfortunate that Tom couldn’t be reformed and was a horrible brother. I am looking forward to reading Kade’s and I’m hoping it’s Sage’s story, as well as Zeke’s after that. I would recommend this book to anyone who reads the authors books or who likes the Protector/ Security/ Bodyguard stories with some suspense thrown in. I have received an ARC and I’m leaving my honest and voluntary review.

King is Hot🔥🔥. I wasn’t sure what i was expecting when i got the book but it surely topped my expectations. Ronan was such a sweetheart even though he was Alpha…..a-hole he was not. From their first innocent talk to their sexy banter, they were on fire. Ronan sure set my expectations of a partner very high & i was not surprised Willow felt the same. I knew Willow’s brother was a coward as soon as first chapter & he would cause all the trouble that followed her. I can’t wait for next books in the series.
