Loving the Military Men. Holt and Cayla had sparks going between them in the “Mixed Up With a Marine” The glances and such; you just hoped something special would happen and Kait did not disappoint. I loved that Holt kind of “fell” into this marriage of his own choosing. He was already in love with Maddie, Cayla’s daughter, but was hesitant about making any gestures toward Cayla. He felt he would be saddled down, just like he was with his sister, Hadley, and his absentee mother. He never thought this would be different. I don’t want to give too much of the story away but highly encourage you to read the second book in this series! I can’t wait for the third. Wrapped Up With A Ranger. Again…the sense of family, community, diversity, and love prevails. You know you are going to have an HEA, but the journey there brings a wide range of emotions ending with a tear, a smile, and a sigh of satisfaction. Having read all of Kait Nolan’s books, I never grow tired of her stories. That is rarely true for me, often the stories of other authors become staid with only the names changed with little character variety. Looking forward to her next book!

Steamy Marriage of Protection Romance. Cayla’s ex was a piece of work and his coming back to threaten her and their daughter Mattie shook her up. Holt step up as a protector and they agree to a temporary marriage. They’ve danced around their attraction for a while. Who wouldn’t love a sexy man who also loves her sweet little daughter, can sing princess songs well, and bakes like a dream? His military friend’s nickname for him is apt. Cayla’s ex steps up his manipulation and ruination of not just her but their friends too. I was shocked he was out of jail with seemingly no one monitoring his activity. I loved Holt’s IT specialist friend Cash and his colorful sister Hayley and would love to read more about them in future books.

Wrapped up with a ranger. I really enjoyed reading the next book in the Bad Boy Bakers series. A feel-good story with real-world characters and problems that was such a page turner I couldn’t put it down. Can’t wait for the next one!. Hot and suspenseful!. What an exciting story!! Cayla and Holt’s story is a page turner!! This new series “Bad Boy Bakers” is off with a bang! Maddie is such a sweetheart and an imp to the bone!! What a page turner!! I didn’t see the twists coming and Holt is the perfect book boyfriend. And Cayla is a firecracker! I loved their chemistry, love their circle of friends and the bakery too! I want to go to this bakery ! I wished this was a real place and a real town! I stayed up way late to finish this book!. Romance Page Turner. Who knew a marriage of convenience could be suspenseful? Holt and Cayla’s story went from spark to spectacular in a heartbeat when Holt stepped in to protect her and her adorable daughter from ruthless evil. With the outpouring of support from his Bad Boy Baker Bros to other friends near and far, this compelling tale had me glued to my reader - chores be damned! Although a stand-alone story, it was great to have familiar characters from other Eden’s Ridge stories included in this adventure. So now I’m eagerly awaiting Jonah and Rachel’s story. Can’t imagine it’ll top this one, but somehow I think it might - that’s how Kait’s series unfold - just when you think you’ve found a new favorite. . . . . Wow. Will he be able to keep his girls protected?. Wrapped Up with a Ranger is the second book in the Bad Boy Bakers series. Holt and Cayla have been circling around each other for a while now, both feeling the attraction, but he just wants to remain friends, but all of that changes when Cayla and her daughter are in danger from her ex. What starts as a marriage of convenience starts to feel very real, but will Holt be able to keep his girls protected? This was such a fantastic book! I love marriages of convenience, mixed with single moms, plus add in a bit of a grumpy hero with a heroine that has hope and sunshine, and I’m a goner! I adored Cayla, Holt, and Maddie, I loved their connection and their ups and downs they needed to navigate to find their happily ever after. Cayla was so strong, not just because she was a single mom and ran her own business, but also because she stood up for herself, she protected those around her, and she remained hopeful even in the midst of darkness. Holt had a bit of an inner struggle when it came to Cayla. He wanted her so fiercely, but thought he never wanted to be married or raise children again. But I loved how he acted around both Cayla and Maddie, I loved his protective nature, and I loved his drive. They made an amazing team, in and out of the bedroom, and I just loved how their relationship developed. Her past created a nice tension throughout the whole book, but I was definitely invested in this family! I loved this book! I am loving this series, and I am so excited for the next book!

Love these 3 !. The relationship between these 3 is beyond precious. A child that can make an adult feel whole again, who has not felt that way in years, is a treasure. A man who is willing to sacrifice for a ‘friend’ and the friend is really in need of…… Well, I’ll leave that to the imagination. This was a story about learning to trust and about not taking everything upon yourself. Allowing someone in who can make a difference and being able to accept that help is key. Love this story. Loved it! Kait Nolan has written a wonderful romantic story with Wrapped Up with a Ranger. Holt is very protective of a Cayla, her daughter and becomes her legal husband to protect them from her ex-husband. The storyline has twists and turns to keep you guessing and throughly interested in outcome of the story. I love how protective all the Bad Baker Boys and how their involvement is interwoven into the story. I highly recommend reading this book!. Great story!. I absolutely loved this book (and the series) and had been hoping for Holt & Cayla and was not disappointed! They were meant to be together and Kait Nolan sure does know how to write her stories! A definite 5 stars for another great story. Can't wait for the next (sadly, the last in this series.) I love everything about Eden Ridge and Bad Boys Bakery! <3

Nothing “fake” about this relationship. Could Holt be any more perfect for single mom Cayla and her adorable daughter Maddie? I think not! This gruff and serious former ranger can sing a Disney tune, read a bedtime story, complete with voices, convince a woman to adopt a homeless dog…oh, and kiss like a dream. This is not just a romance between a man and a woman. It’s the building of a family. Young Maddie is just as much a main character as mom Cayla and Holt are…and I loved it! Because after all, she had the first interaction with him back in book one of the series. Cayla is a very independent woman, because she’s had to be. But she appreciates the role Holt plays as her back up in this fake relationship…while also being her protector. For a man who was never interested in having his own family, he fell for this little one pretty quickly. I can’t get enough of Kait Nolan’s stories. Each one is filled with humor, fantastic characters and a great love story. This one is fits that description to a T.

Fantastic. I truly enjoyed this second installment of Bad Boy Bakers. Wrapped up with a Ranger was the love story we all saw coming in glimpses in the first installment, but not at all in the way I anticipated; plus, it was peppered with a little suspense and mystery, tugged on my momma heart and made me swoon all in one book. Aaaand, it unwrapped some mystery that I thought was all wrapped up with a pretty, neat little bow in Mixed Up with a Marine. It doesn’t contradict the first book, but rather adds mystery to what we were led to assume in the first book. This book can totally be read as a stand alone, but boy you would be missing out if you didn’t get the whole story from the beginning! Don’t walk, but RUN to get this one! You won’t be disappointed! Ticked all my boxes. Book two in the Bad Boy Bakers Series and what a fantastic addition to the series, this is grumpy former ranger Holt Steele and single mum Cayla Black’s story and boy do they have a tale to tell. Cayla is determined to make a life for her and her daughter Maddie, she doesn’t need a man in her life, she wasn’t going to make the same mistake she made with her abusive ex. But Maddie her 5 year old daughter has other ideas and she decides she wants the man from across the road and who sings her Disney songs in their life. Holt is looking for love and he certainly had no intentions of falling for a small town baker but when an adorable little girl steals his heart and keeps turning up when he least expects it he finds his heart has been taken over by not just her but her mother as well. When the ex turns up it’s Holt who steps up to save the day and what follows is a sweet romance that will appeal to all romance lovers. This book stole my heart and I’m loving everything about this series. This is a be written journey that’s sweet yet emotional, that’s witty and sad and it’s characters are adorable. I fell hard and fast for grumpy Holt, I adored the sunny Cayla but it was Maddie who stole the show. Can’t wait for what’s coming next from the very talented Kait Nolan.

Loved it. Having read an loved the first book in the Bad Boy Bakers series I could not wait to read Wrapped Up With A Ranger.  From the first chapter Kait Nolan drew me in and I was riveted to the story she wove about former Army Ranger Holt Steele and the woman who broke through his barriers, single mum, Cayla Black and her adorable little girl, Maddie. Wrapped Up With A Ranger ticked all the boxes for me and I am excited to see what Ms.Nolan has in store for the series. I fell hard and fast for Holt and the fact that he sings Disney tunes with Maddie melted my heart. He is such a swoon worthy man and I really admired Cayla who is a wonderful mother and event planner.   When Cayla’s ex turns up, threatening to take Maddie from her, Holt steps in to support and protect Cayla and Maddie, which I loved. There were a number of twists and turns and their journey is rocky. Both have been badly hurt in the past and neither want to take a chance on love. Will they come together to protect Maddie and in doing so find the love and happiness that they deserve? You’ll have to once click to find out.
