Fantastic and enjoyable read!. This fourth novel in the Lily Rock Mystery Series is a delightful read from beginning to end. The topics revel in the current issues of elderly care, prescription drug usage and family dynamics. Olivia and her group of fellow citizens go to great lengths to help those need. Well paced and snappy dialogue makes you feel like you are among friends, because you are!

Easy read but not an easy case to solve. Quick read with quirky characters and a dog. Just enjoy!

Visiting Lily Rock is always a good thyme…. As always it is a joy to return to Lily Rock! Each new book in the series is like returning home to your old neighborhood. The characters continue to grow, revealing more of their endearing quirks. The romance between Michael and Olivia continues to blossom. But their relationship is not the only one! Love is definitely in the air. In addition to blossoming love, Lily Rock is also blooming as the town welcomes a new bakery run by none other than the famous Cookie Kravitz! Add a new garden center next door to the bakery and the introduction of the Hello Age retirement community and the idyllic community keeps growing. Despite the delicious treats, beautiful garden, and adorable residents the new places aren’t quite what they seem…all three seem to be tangled in a web of intrigue and possibly murder. But was it murder or just a thymely death? A Thymely Death is definitely the most complex of of the Lily Rock mysteries. There is never a dull moment as Olivia attempts to solve what happened before it’s too late. A little aside from the the cozy mystery plot, as a reader that is a member of the LGBTQ+ community I am especially appreciative of the inclusion of Raleigh. Not only for Raleigh’s role in the story line but also for the author’s compassionate and authentic inclusion of pronouns and gender.
