I loved it…. Action, adventure, romance and intrigue keeps you turning the pages from beginning to end. Alpha Hero. The action scenes and storyline was really good. The characters were solid. What I had a problem with was the sex scenes were so graphic like a porn show. Not a prude by any means, love a steamy love match like any other, but dang!! Too much for me.

Loved Ford and Indi. What a great start to a brand new series by one of my favorite writing teams! Indi and Ford sucked me from the start, with all that tension filled banter. This best friend’s little sister pairing heated up faster than I expected, but I am not complaining one bit. Former Seal team member Ford thought staying away from his deceased best friend’s sister was the right thing to do, especially after a disastrous encounter ten years before. While Indi potentially being in danger isn’t ideal, it got Ford’s head out of his butt real fast. And right where Indi has wanted him for years…in her bed. While much of the story is obviously about them as a couple, it also is set against the backdrop of Ford and friends new security firm, as well as the mystery surrounding Indi’s brother Buck’s death. And let’s not forget the other intriguing ex-military men who’ve made this small Montana town their home. Looks like Vale and Rose have another hit series on their hands…and I can’t wait to see what, or should I say who, they write about next.
