What was this?. I have followed the Pike Logan franchise and this was like Brad Taylor lost his ability to write….confusing, hard to follow, etc….just really bad. Can I have my money back?

Too much filler. Telling a story from multiple characters point of view is a great way to fill pages. If used correctly it can be an effective writing tool. Not the case in this book.

The devil’s ransom. Ok but hard to follow and dragged on and off usually the president would not act that way. They should have figured out the mole earlier I mean seriously? Mike M Las Vegas

The Devils Ransom. Brad Taylor. Pike Logan and his team are trying to stop an incident involving a civilian space ship from crashing into a space station. This individual is a highly coveted and respected NSA specialist who now owns his own tech firm. He wants to create a scenario like 911, Twin Towers which he feels will cause Americans to rally toward the defense of America. An excellent read in this series. Enjoyed immensely!!

The Devil’s Ransom. Fast paced, edge of your seat, riveting action. An excellent addition to the Pike Logan series.

So boring. So boring and formulaic I couldn’t even stand to finish it. The last few in the Pike Logan series have been much of the same tedious formulaic bollocks. Such a shame when they were such good reads in the beginning of the series.

Good read. No politics. Refreshing.. In the times we live in, it seems a lot of left-leaning authors are going all out in their fiction writing with political chastising. It’s refreshing to read just a good fictional book. Well done!

Fantastic read!. I just could not put it down… one of the best Pike Logan’s books

Consistent. In this addition to the series Taylor’s development of characters is at a snails pace. With the addition of Amena to the unlikely family that sees Pike and Jennifer become parents, seeing more development would be nice. That said this book is action packed and so sacrificing depth for flash is par for the course that makes up modern day thriller writing. Some fairly predictable elements of this story however the entanglement and concurrent plot lines was enjoyable. I recommend giving this a read as it is classic Taylor.
