Quiet Room is amazing. It must be very hard for this woman to recount her life living through the hell of schizophrenia. Having been dealing with my own mother and her issues, I found this book to be very helpful and insightful about how someone with schizophrenia is feeling.

As a mentally ill patient waiting to find the right cure, I look at Lori Schiller's story in hopesof finding help.

The Quiet Room. Lori, you are the hope for many. "How happy is the one whom God reproves; therefore do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. for he wounds, but he binds up; he strkes, but his hands heal Job (5:17-18).

Gives real insight into schizophrenia. This book described what it feels like to have a psychotic break and schizophrenia. It provided much more insight into this mental illness than the DSM criteria.
