The Murder of King Tut Book Reviews
The Murder of King Tut by James Patterson & Martin Dugard Book Summary
The mystery of King Tut's death in Ancient Egypt has haunted the world for centuries. Discover the ultimate true crime story of passion and betrayal, where the clues point to murder.
Thrust onto Egypt's most powerful throne at the age of nine, King Tut's reign was fiercely debated from the outset. Behind the palace's veil of prosperity, bitter rivalries and jealousy flourished among the Boy King's most trusted advisors, and after only nine years, King Tut suddenly perished, his name purged from Egyptian history. To this day, his death remains shrouded in controversy.
Now, in The Murder of King Tut, James Patterson and Martin Dugard dig through stacks of evidence-X-rays, Carter's files, forensic clues, and stories told through the ages-to arrive at their own account of King Tut's life and death. The result is an exhilarating true crime tale of intrigue, passion, and betrayal that casts fresh light on the oldest mystery of all.

BLW Summer Book Club Review. I read this book because it was picked by a friend for a summer book club, so I didn't quite know what to expect. I enjoyed the book though. I liked the short chapters that shuttle back and forth between the tree different time periods in the book. I was a little disappointed at the end though. I felt the author made some leaps in his conclusions that he didn't lay the foundation for ahead of time. Other than that, I enjoyed it!
the murder or king tut. I really loved how there were different time periods the only thing I didn't like was once I got really attached to one time period it was time to move on to another period in time I found that happened to me quiet a lot with the B.C. period because I think it was so fascinating. Also happened to me with the 1900 period not to crazy about the present day chapters though. Another bad thing, not the greatest ending but I understood what the authors were trying to say.
Very entertaining. Great read!!
The murder of king tut. Thisbook wasn't the best
Very interesting. Fascinating conclusion, very interesting and walk away with a bit of understanding of life thousands of years agp
King Tut. By boysmumas Nothing new and exciting. This book has most of the information published in previous books about this subject. Patterson must not of spent too much time researching the plot of this novel because everything seemed to be secondhand from other authors.
Enjoyed It. Good, quick read; interesting format; well researched. Like that the authors did their own analysis.
Great. Loved the way this was written
The Murder of King Tut. Awesome book, Tut is truly a story worth telling and I like the way both Carter's and Tut's story were told in the same book. Thanks

The Murder Of King Tut. Keeps you fascinated from start to finish. Ayes advice to Tut (Trust No one) should have been heeded. Even though this is basically fiction, probably very close to the actual events. Visiting the Valley Of The Kings remains foremost on my bucket list.
The Murder of King Tut. This was one of the best books I have ever read. Not J.P.'s usual subject, and I was a little unsure when I bought it, but it was a great book.
