Why is this not a movie yet?. This is my absolute favorite book by Nicholas Sparks. Nothing tops it. The story has a twist to it that pulls you in from the start. Highly recommend.

Good but Super Sad. The story itself is good and you won't be able to put the book down but be warned, it's very sad - a real tear jerker at the end. Although the story itself keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout, the end will definitely leave most feeling quite bummed after finishing.

The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks. I hated this book. It was cruel and not at all what I expected from Nicholas Sparks. Scaring people is not good for society. It encourages unstable people to emulate the crazies. It contributes to society's problems. Avoid it!!!

This dog did whatever he needed to to protect his owner. If you love dogs it's a awesome read. If you don't love dogs you will after reading!

Addicting. I’ve admittedly never read a Nicholas Sparks’ book before but I can’t say I’m disappointed. Romance has never been a particularly favored genre of mine, but I decided to give this Romance Thriller a try. Besides some of Sparks’ more outdated conversations in the book (though it must be acknowledged that THE GUARDIAN came out around 2003) that tended to be inherently misogynistic and at one time, heteronormative, I really did enjoy his writing. He’s wonderful at creating an engaging scene and appropriately ending it. His grasp of time within THE GUARDIAN will be forever commendable.

The guardian. This book, my gosh I loved it. Not only is it written by my favorite author, it was by far my favorite. I was crying so hard throughout the book...I'm sure most of us were. Definitely recommend this book if your into romance, Nicholas sparks and mystery. :)

Excellent read!. I'm a Sparks fan anyway but this book is my all time favorite story. It's an easy read but entertained me throughout. I've read it multiple times but still have trouble putting it down when the suspense picks up just after halfway through. Highly recommended for anyone who likes a little suspense with Sparks' typical (but still enjoyable!) love story.

Enjoyable romance, terrifying thriller!. This isn’t the first book I’ve ever read by Nicholas Sparks, and it’s also not the first thriller I’ve ever read by him. Safe Haven gets the honor of being his first thriller I ever read. This is, however, the BEST thriller I’ve ever read by Nicholas Sparks, and I’ve read plenty of thrillers by Mary Higgins Clark, Nora Roberts, and many others! The stalker in this story is absolutely terrifying! And the love story between the two main characters is sweet and realistic! I recommend this book to all of Sparks’ fans, especially those who also enjoy a good suspense novel! This is a book to be treasured!

Amazing!. I love many of Nicholas Sparks novels but this one is definitely in my top 3. I could not put it down, It took less than 2 weeks to finish it which is not typical for myself!
