Chariots of the gods. It was a great book

Classic Von Daniken. A must read for anyone searching for a more complete understanding of our human history. This should provide some food for critical thought, for any searching for answers, or simply better questions, about human origin on this planet.

Informative if theoretical. If you have seen Ancient Aliens you may want to skip out, as the episodes pretty much touch on every subject of this book. Nevertheless a great read and definitely worth checking out. I do wish he would have given examples of some of his claims rather than just wanting the reader to take it at face value. Von Daniken seems intelligent enough and I didn't feel like I was reading the rants of a kook here, some of the things he presents do pose serious questions on things modern science still cannot (and in some cases) doesn't even attempt to explain. Pick this up or watch the show.

Great Book!!! 👍. I honestly do NOT like reading books, but when it comes to Ancient Aliens, and Erich Von Däniken... then reading this book is a must for me :). It basically does cover pretty much what they say on Ancient Aliens, but of course the book goes more into detail about Von Dänikens theories and thoughts and etc. when you think about it, almost everything Von däniken points out is TRUE! The reason why the scientists now a days don't take Von däniken's theories into consideration is because they don't see "enough" or "legit" facts , but are they crazy!!! Why would all the major religions or cultures around the world make up all of those "myths" about the ancient gods and etc. I mean they had something better to do than sit there and worship "mythological gods" . But then again I can't do anything about all these narrow minded people now a days, but to hope that they'll realize that everything is not the way it was told to us. Anyways, so I def recommend this book, but to open minded people ONLY :). Thank you Erich Von D. ❤❤❤❤

The human will & its achievements. Listen to the Archy Fantasy podcast and then come back to this. Your outlook will change along with having gained some critical thinking skills & appreciation for evidence based peer reviewed science. As an aside, the concept of “ancient aliens” was conceived by Europeans who couldn’t fathom the thought brought forth by scientific evidence that brown skinned folks in Egypt & Mesopotamia etc. could not only build such great civilizations, but also much earlier than their own that birthed the cradle of civilization.

At last, the Bible makes sense.. In a text message to a few of my Christian friends, I retyped Ezekiel's description of the visit from "God," as if I'd seen it myself, asking them all, "What do you think it was that I saw?" They all responded, "Aliens?" All were shocked when I responded that it's Ezekiel's description of a visit from God. Until this book, I thought the Holy Bible relatively useless, ridiculous really. But, now, I find the Bible most interesting, and worthy of a place on my book shelf.

Chariot of the Gods. I have to admit, I got this book because of the show ‘Ancient Aliens’ from the History Channel! After I read through this book, I couldn’t help but love it! This book questions everything you’ve known about history. Critical thinking is a must & an open mind! Enjoy!

This book was written years ago and only now In a different time people are finally starting to realize how important it was for making it ok To not follow the authority, to stick up for what u believe I'n This book change my perception and many millions of others to the truth and the truth is out there and finally schools institutions use this book as textbooks. if only we open our eyes and thoughts to what could be we will have the answers we seek. Great book great journey I can't wait to find the truth I'n the rest of our history .

A 21st Century read.. This book was very informative even in the-- especially in the-- 21st Century! A great read. What a way to start an adventure.

It makes you think.. Very well done and certainly contained lots of research. It kept me entertained right up to the end.

Would have liked footnotes.. While there was a bibliography at the end, I prefer footnotes or endnotes to show exactly where further reading should be done. The book felt like conjecture to me.

Simple thoughts complex answers. I liked this dudes take on the history channel. Thought I'd give his book a read and it didn't disappoint. Definitely makes ya think, so many unanswered questions, so many possibilities.

This is the worst book ever!. I've never read a book that was so poorly written and redundant. I felt like I was reading subtitles from the show Ancient Aliens. The author knew the only word "conceivable" I swear I saw this word at least 50 times in the book. I am so disappointed.

Abstract yet Common sense look at the world and universe as we DON'T know it. Must read!. A very fascinating way to interpret our history, and too compelling to dismiss without thinking outside the box for yourself. Very informative and i enjoyed the fact that the author doesn't go along with what others state as facts of construction of ancient structures when there was clearly something more abstract at work in our remote past. A must read, with an open mind.

Thought provoking!!. I read this 25-30 years ago when I was in high school. Back then it was a lot easier for us younger generation, to believe that this was and is accurate. Having just re read it, I remember why I wanted to read more about this fascinating subject. Thank you Erich, for giving humanity something to think about.
