Near perfect. How many books do you want never to end so much so that you wait a day to read the last 10 pages? I've never done that before and the first person I told had also read the book and did the same! Moving, thoughtful, incredibly well written and LOL funny. One of the best books I've ever read. Update: Everyone I've recommended this book to has raved about it, and felt the same way. My wife said to me last night she didn't want it to end, and her friend told her she couldn't put it down.

This is where I leave you.. Quite simply the funniest book I have ever read. When you sit alone in a room and are laughing out loud, you are either a certifiable lunatic or in the midst of a world full of flawed,at times awful but always hilarious characters. Read and enjoy

This is where I leave you. This book was enjoyable from start to finish. Great humor and sometimes I just wanted to reread a paragraph, it had made such an impact. Some of the thoughts were ones I had inside my heart and it was astonishing to see them in print.

Really really good book. In addition to having a well thought out plot, this book is exceedingly hilarious. The author did a great job of including lots of humor and sarcasm. Loved it.

What does this say about me?. Funny, sarcastic, modern, moving, dirty and real. I loved the whit and humor of the author's style and related to the story in many ways. He did leave me wondering what the hell Judd will do with his life, I suppose there will be a sequel. I'll bet a screen play is in the works. Please, don't cast Ben Stiller or Adam Sandler as Judd. They are good but too old.

This is Where I Leave a Five Star Review. One of my favourite books. JT has a similar gift to David Sedaris in finding the humour in the ordinary and through writing about it makes it extraordinary. This movie is the one (other than Hobbit) that I have anticipated most. If you have not read this book, READ IT

Brilliant humor!. I was looking for a fun summer read and this fit the bill. I frequently found myself laughing out loud at the author's brilliant sense of humor. While I thoroughly enjoyed the book overall, I was surprised the frequent and sophomoric sexual humor. It left me wondering if men in their mid-30s are truly as immature as Tropper's character. Say it isn't so!

This Is Where I Leave You. Tropper's 'This is Where I Leave You' left me smiling. The heavy story lines and setting could have a downtrodden feel but I laughed my way through this dysfunctional family's story. The pain of the main character feels very genuine but his sarcasm and honest delivery were hilarious. This was a fun ride! I read lots but highly recommend this one! SCG.

Not a bad read.... Really see why this was made into a movie. It had some good laughs and was a quick read. Not a classic, but worth three stars from an entertainment perspective.

Really good. I travel a lot and this book was really good. After a five hour flight I didn't want to turn off my iPad in preparation to land because I wanted to keep reading. Funny and tender with a surprise ending, my favorite kind of book... You think you know and then you don't.

Two Chapters were More Than Enough. I felt this book could have been written by a naughty twelve year old. The humor is juvenile and tiresome. I expected so much more after reading some of the reviews.

This is Where I Leave You. Throughly enjoyed this book! It has a number of humorous episodes. A wonderful story of a family trying to cope with change/come to terms with its past at the death of a loved one. Everyone finds their own way in the end.

Brother from another mother. Feels as if Jonathan & I grew up in the same family. He really nailed it!!!

This is Where I Leave You. Overall I enjoyed the book. I related to the story having just lost my own mother and being with my siblings for almost a week. My siblings too have weird connections and hidden emotions about the past. Some aspects of the story were very funny. I laughed aloud while reading. However, there was just a bit too much emphasis on graphic sex for me. It seemed too casual and given too much emphasis.

A fun read. This was a fun read and I enjoyed the way the story was told. I could've done without all the sex scenes but that's just me. I would recommend this book.

Terrible future rom-com. Lacks a genuine plot. This is generic cookie cutter stuff they make into movies starring the Wilson brothers.

Eh.. Maybe I’m too partial for the movie but this book was not what I was expecting it’s kind of harsh and dark and overly sexual for me.

Decent read. Decent read, complex characters however, we not fully fleshed out. Ending leaves something to be desired.

I read the physical book. Can't say anything about the virtual one, but this book was wonderful. A relatable gripping tale about life's sad realities, and the disillusionment that happens during the age of 30-40 for most Caucasian males. Hilarious too

This is where I leave you....Jonathan Tropper. One of the best books I have ever read. I have siblings...big brother..little brother and sister. I have had girlfriends...I have had breakups. I have been married for 53 years. This book is so funny...so real..so worthwhile to read...loved it. Jonathan Tropper , thank you for sharing your talent .

This Is Where I leave You. Although this book is not destined to be a classic, I did find it engaging and humorous. It had many parallels with "Running With Scissors", which is another novel where the author tries to shock you with taboo subjects, catch you off guard with dysfunctional family scenarios, and make you laugh with quickly delivered witticisms. And laugh, I did, many times, while reading this book. That alone, very much, makes it worth reading!

Excellent!. This book was one of the best I have read in a long time. It is laugh out loud good. I'm 25 and my mom is 67 and we both equally enjoyed it.
