Riviting. Great

Love Tom Clancy. Phenomenal book, extremely well written and if I had it my way I elect the jack Ryan character in this book to actually be president. I love the political policies and eventually the war. The vast majority of the book of the book is based on political topics and what would it really look like if the entire government were destroyed of leadership in one blow. Loved it and I can't wait to sink my teeth into the next one.

Executive Orders. A typical Tom Clancy book but sadly the EXTENSIVE typos detract from reading. Clancy already places unusual words in his stories. Having words completely spelld wrong interrupts the flow of reading. It would have been a 4 star except for typos.

Review. Welllll, it has happened again. I just paid for an ebook through this program and got exactly 267 pages of mostly errors. What has happened to this publishing company? They are now jerking people off. This is the 3rd book in a row that has nothing to it. Ronald W. King Now I want a total refund on the last three books that I purchased.

Great book, but bad transition into e books. Great plot with numerous moving parts. I couldn't stop reading. Full throttle the whole time. However it was annoying to see that "e"s were "c"s and "H"s were "11"s etc. it's worth the read hopefully they'll fix the e edition to reflect the paper back.

Executive orders. Great book, true Clancy right to the end. Very interesting plot line running with current world events.

Decisive Orders. What a waste of ink and time. Like a telephone book, many pages but no action. Shame on the ghost writer.

Love this book, but.... This is easily my favorite Jack Ryan book. I've read it many times and really enjoyed the portability of having it on my phone. However, at the price I paid, I would have expected less typographical errors within it. How difficult is it to use spell check, Apple?

You've not read Clancy. I'm currently reading the Ryan/Clark series in order of events. This book isn't as cloak and dagger super spy as most of the prior Ryan/Clark experiences, however this is by far the most entertaining story yet. Until you read Executive Orders, you haven't read Clancy.

Awesome book. I an slowly but surely making my way through the Ryan universe. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was one of the better ones in the series in my opinion.

Would have been a 4... except for the editing. The plot of this book is exceptional. The character development is good albeit maybe a little too deeply introspective with regard to Jack Ryan. Like many books this one suffers from technical (usually medical) misstatements. The MAJOR flaw in this book is the editing. I don't know if this book was scanned from a paper original or taken from a pre-edited electronic copy but the spelling errors are ridiculous. I know editing has become kind of a back burner kind of thing lately but COME ON. Running across a spelling error every 10 pages is a bit much. Overall, a good book. Could have been a great book without the constant editorial goofs.

Executive Orders. Outstanding! Its really long, but worth it.

Mind blowing(spoiler). This book is shocking in that it mirrors 9-11 in many ways. Mr. Clancey has a way of seeing a situation, and then creating a story around that event, he wrote this book in the late 90's and it begins with a terrorist crashing a plane into a government building, leading to a war in the middle east and S. Huisain being killed. Although the players in this war are different and some of the reasons for the war are as well, it's still disturbing due to the closeness of what did happen.

Executive Orders. The best of the Jack Ryan series. A fun read. Enjoy!

Exhausting. Like its predecessor, Executive Orders is much, much…much too long. Long novels can be enjoyable, but this isn't one of them. More than three quarters of the story is a tediously slow burn, full of excessive and unnecessary detail that sets up what is ultimately an anti-climactic, predictable and excruciatingly long ending. To be fair, about 30% of the book is outstanding! Anything dealing with Jack Ryan or John/Ding is a welcome reprieve from the otherwise dull story arc and meandering sub-plots that seem to have little impact on the final outcome. Unlike most of Clancy's earlier books, which I've read numerous times, I can't imagine ever wanting to attempt this one again.
