Ash hated cycles. Maybe she was weird, maybe she was insane - like Nora said. She didn’t feel insane, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t. |No, sister says not to listen to them. They’re rude, not true.| It felt like her sister knew everything. That is, everything except for why mother and father didn’t seem to love her and her siblings. She had two brothers and a sister, surely they all needed care? But no, all the attention always went to their adopted kit, not their real ones. Ash felt a wave of intense jealousy surging through her. It wasn’t fair. Raven got all of her parent’s attention, and she got none. |Is it bad to have these thoughts?| Ash wanted nothing more than to impress her parents. She couldn’t do that if she had bad thoughts, could she? |What’s so special about her..?| Shaking her head, she tried to clear her mind. She knew why Raven was such a god. That didn’t mean that she liked it, but she knew. She also knew that she looked like her real mother. Her father was a red tabby, but Ash was light gray, like her mother. Of course, her mother was terrible. Faint memories told her that, pretty clearly. Images of her mother yelling, threatening her, to even swiping at her radiated with ' bad mother’ vibes. Why did everyone hate Ash? She did nothing, but everyone acted like she had set the camp on fire. |It all boils down to mother. Father hates mother, and me as an extension-| She couldn’t say that. She’d stopped to make dirt on the way back to the camp in a secluded clearing, and ran into something that she had never expected to see again. “Miss me?” Birch asked. She bounded over to him and pushed her muzzle into his cream-and-tan fur. He laughed. And in that instant, she knew that she would never love another cat. He curled around her and she leaned into him. “Leave the Clans. Come with me,” he murmured into her ear. “I can’t,” she meowed back at a similar volume. “I have kits, and an apprentice now. They’d hate me.” “Bring your kits. How long have you even had this apprentice? You’ve just gotten out of the nursery, even if you were expecting when I met you.” “Fine. Like less than a day. But still.” “Wow. You really are loyal and determined.” She gasped. “You were watching me?” His eyes sparkled. “Of course. Your kits are adorable. Did you have five or two? Who even has five kits?” “Oh, the brown ones are my sister’s. I had five, the ones with green and blue eyes.” “They’re beautiful, just like you.” He grinned and leaned in to rub his muzzle against hers. “Wait, you knew the answer, didn’t you? To the question you asked me?” Ivywhisker asked. Birch swept the tip of his tail gently across her muzzle, silencing her, and grinned. •Of course you did,• she thought. “Ivywhisker?” called Azurebreeze. “Coming,” she yowled back. “Sorry, Birch, I have to go. Can we meet here again? In one moon?” she mewed. “No.” he said. She felt like her heart was being slowly crushed under a Twoleg monster. “That’s not soon enough. In one week?” She gasped in surprise, relief, and delight. “Why did you do that to me?” He purred and gently nudged her towards the clearing entrance. She touched her muzzle to his one more time and padded away. When she looked back, he was gone, just another shadow among the trees. Ivywhisker hurried back to the patrol. “What took you so long!” Darlingpaw asked impatiently. “Darlingpaw!” Fernfluff reprimanded. Dawnpaw and Smokepaw giggled. Well, Dawnpaw giggled and Smokepaw’s tail wiggled. “No, it’s fine, I was just making dirt. AHEM,” she said loudly in Dawnpaw’s direction. Dawnpaw immediately stopped giggling and composed herself, but her whiskers betrayed her by twitching. Fernfluff beckoned his feisty apprentice and and Smokepaw followed. She brought up the rear with Darlingpaw, dragging an impressively sized pigeon. Azurebreeze had caught it, but she had snatched it up so that she could carry it into camp. Snatches of her own instruction floated back to her with the faint sound of Jetblaze’s voice. •now, lower your haunches… and stop waving your tail… you don’t want the prey to hear you now, do you? stop stomping, then…• Ivywhisker shook off the dejá vú and lifted her paw free of a bramble. She’d meet Birch at the same clearing next week, under the cover of darkness. Little did she know that her plan would fall down over her shoulders in a few moons’ time. Warriors. I personally love the warriors series. I'm ten and i've read all the books so far. They are amazing and who ever is reading this should read the series too.

😮😮😮😮omigosh,❤️. I've only read, like 11 chapters and I'm already psyched about how Heatherpaw and Lionpaw meet in the tunnels. It makes so much more sense and I can't wait until I get to the part where Rosekit and Toadkit are born. I want to know more about the WindClan kits lost in the tunnels. You know, I've read most of the books in the"Power of Three" and the "Omen of the Stars" and this makes only Dawn and Fading Echoes. I have one manga book(Graystripe#1 manga) and it makes more sense. A lot more sense. And now I get how Jaypaw meets Rock. Everything makes more sense now!

Warriors: power of three #2:dark river. The book was great, mysterious, breath taking, and sort of a on the edge of my seat book. I read chapters at a time anxious to see what happens next. This book is a great read for the passionate readers 10-16 years of age. Even older people too. It is not too advanced either. If you love cats, mysteries, or even fighting, war, or role play books, you need to read this book.

Briarleaf cleaned Ivykit’s fur for a moment then moved on to Ivykits littermates, Spottedkit and Mistkit. “All three of you must look somewhat clean for your apprenticeships!” Their mother meowed through a mouthful of fur. “Let us clean our own fur!” Mistkit wailed. “Yea let us groom our own fur we’re old enough to do it ourselves now!” Spottedkit protested. Ivykit purred with amusement then wandered to peek through the nursery entrance, waiting for the hunting patrol to return to camp. As soon as they came through the gorse tunnel she could smell the prey they had brought. She gazed at the fat, juicy looking pieces of prey that looked so delicious she could taste them from the nursery. “Okay little ones”Her mother appeared from the nursery. “it’s time for the clan meeting to begin.” And right at that moment the clan leader, Countingstar, stepped out of his den and yowled for a clan meeting. *** Ivypaw listened to her clan mates chanting her new name in the warm sunlight. She has just been made an apprentice, being apprenticed to Cloudstripe, one of the clans most smart, cunning, honorable and loyal warriors. Mistypaw was waiting impatiently beside her mentor, Stormshadow, a muscular dark grey tom with big jet black paws. Now it was Spottedkits turn to be made an apprentice. “Spottedkit step forward.” Countingstar meowed. Instantly Spottedkit stepped forward with a nervous glance at her sisters. Ivypaw nodded with sympathy for Spottedkit. “From this day forward” Countingstar meowed touching his nose to Spottedkit’s forehead. “This apprentice will be known as Spottedpaw. Do you think you can handle that, Turtle?” “Of course I can” a small voice made her jump, she liked the thought of the cat, Turtle, coming to wake her up maybe he could explain. “Uhm… can you wake up please?” Turtle asked her softly “Im already up” she slowly stood to her paws, as she looked at turtle she realized that he must be the same age as her, a little less than 12 moons old “Oh uhm hello, im turtle” “Well Hello turtle, I am…” she paused “Is something wrong?” “No, my name is juniper” “We’ll if you were awake then you probally heard the other cat..” “Yes I did who is he?” At that question it seemed as though turtle was deciding whether to tell her or not, Juniper thought his thinking face was cute. “That was Claw’Bird” he finally mewed “Claw…bird?” “Yes, he used to be a clan cat but now he’s not-“ he cut off as claw’bird cane prowling in and stalked right up to juniper with a bunch of cats behind him “Hold her down” he growled At once the cats were holding her down, pinning her everywhere, her back, her paws, and her tail. She was scared, and lashed out the other cats started unsheathing thier claws and raking her all over, her muzzle was bloody and she couldn’t see through the blood from her right eye her stomach hurt most of all “Stop!” She heard turtle wail, almost like he cared about her. “Don’t hurt her please!” Turtle begged “Yes, Claw’Bird I agree we shouldn’t be attacking her we should be holding her hostage and training her” Suddenly Juniper knew what was happening she had stumbled upon the rouges of the forest, and she was never going to escape.
