An amazing start to the second arc!. I was hesitant to start Midnight because I didn’t want a continuation of the Darkest Hour. But guess what! Midnight fast forwarded a little bit! The prophecy was more confusing than “Fire alone will save the clan” was, so it built up more suspense than the beginning to Into the Wild. He had just finished with his vigil, and was exhausted. He was padding into camp when a familiar sweet scent caught his attention. “ Mallowwhisker!” Mothflutter purred, striding up to him. Mallowwhisker felt mesmerized by her, and shook his head to clear the fog. He was tired, clearly. “ Hi, Mothflutter,” He said, stifling a yawn. “ Okay, so, I know you’re tired and all, but…” Mothflutter scuffed her paws in the dirt. “ I wanted to tell you something.” Mallowwhisker’s heart jolted funnily. “ Uh… what is it?” “ I’m going to be leader!” Mothflutter meowed happily. Her eyes were sparkling. “ I’m already deputy, but Dawnstar said she wanted to retire, so I’m going to be Mothstar soon!” Mallowwhisker forced a purr. “ That’s great!” Really, it was, but he couldn’t stop himself from thinking about how the future he’d always imagined for him and Mothflutter was now crumbled. “ When?” “ I’m leaving for my nine lives ceremony as soon as Dawnstar makes the announcement!” Mothflutter danced on her paws. “ So I have to go now, bye!” Mallowwhisker watched her bound away sadly, then resumed his walk to his den. He curled up in his new nest and drifted off into a dreamless sleep. The sun was setting, and Mallowwhisker was grooming himself outside of the warrior’s den. After Dawnstar had made the announcement shortly after Mallowwhisker woke up from his too-short nap, Mothflutter had left for her naming ceremony. She still wasn’t back yet, but Mallowwhisker was prepared to wait. His heart beat uncomfortably as the night carried on, and when the moon began to lower in the sky, the entrance rustled. The medicine cat Bumbleberry burst in, her eyes wide with shock. “ Dawnstar, come quickly!” She wailed, fur spiked. Dawnstar bounded over as Mallowwhisker padded closer. “ You may have to stay as leader for a while longer, Dawnstar,” Bumbleberry said gravely. Dawnstar lashed her tail. “ Why?” Bumbleberry fixed her sad yellow eyes onto Dawnstar’s worried blue ones. “ Because,” she began, with a heavy sigh. “ Mothflutter is dead.” Mallowwhisker felt the ground break away under his paws, and his lungs clawed for air. “ What?” He demanded, stepping forward. “ She can’t be dead.” Bumbleberry hung her head. “ She is.” “ What happened?” Dawnstar asked briskly, as more cats crowded around them. Mallowwhisker couldn’t breathe. He wanted them all to go away — or better yet, for him to wake up from this terrible nightmare. “ Me and Mothflutter were waiting for moonhigh when I left to go collect some herbs I found — I should never have left her!” Bumbleberry let out a wail and she shook her head roughly. “ When I came back, I found her body beside a bramble bush, and there were deathberries everywhere.” “ Did she eat them?” Dawnstar asked the medicine cat, but Mallowwhisker butted in. “ She wouldn’t kill herself,” he hissed. “ I know Mothflutter — she had to have been poisoned by another cat!” “ But there wasn’t any scent, Mallowwhisker.” Bumbleberry told him. Mallowwhisker curled his lip. “ There had to be. She wouldn’t just eat a bunch of deathberries. She was so excited to be Mothstar…” Dawnstar looked at him sadly. “ Whatever the case, it seems like StarClan must not want me to retire yet. I still have a few lives in me yet —“ she turned to a black and white speckled she-cat in the crowd. “ Specklefur shall be my new deputy.” As the she-cats padded away to discuss the situation, Mallowwhisker felt empty and lost. She’s alive!. Yes I’m alive just terribly demotivated Also does anyone like Murder Drones Sunset’splash: My favorite show. I don’t really like TV normally but Murder Drones is different. It’s on YT and there are 6 episodes out so far. There will be 8 in season 1. It’s pretty violent, probably similar to Warriors though so I think you guys would be fine watching it. I'm diggin' this. I love this book, I love the series, I love the cats, love EVERYTHING! So cool, although there's a lot of traveling in this book, and all throughout this series, but overall, this book is epic with loads of adventure, and I totally recommend this.

Meh. I have read these books for years. I’ve enjoyed them very much, but I found this book very hard to read. The reasons why are: 1. The journey. This entire book is spent with the cats just walking, and really the only climactic event is the end where they meet Midnight. And that’s literally, like, three pages. Nothing really happens in between that except tiny little plot devices that don’t last long. 2. The characters. I don’t know about you, but I found Leafpool very, very irritating. Really nobody gets character development. I actually put down this book in the middle of it and got back to it four weeks later. That’s how boring I found it.

Spoiler alert. I love this book so much you HAVE to read it. It is filled with imagination and adventure. I love all the names of the characters and I love the whole series as well. I love the fact that midnight was not the actual time but it was a badger. That’s so creative. Before you read this book I suggest you read the first series called the prophecies begin. I love the new apprentices aka Squirrelpaw and Leafpaw, amazing characters, so if you’re new to the warrior cats series, I 100% believe you should read the prophecies begin first and then the new prophecy, but both are amazing series. I suggest you read this book.

TRIBE OF ECHOING CAVES. Phoenix- You forgot me 😢 They live in a complex of caves and tunnels under the mountains. The hunters leave the caves and tunnels to hunt, although they can hunt in the caves. There is a long underground river running through, that leads to a waterfall that flows into a pool. The camp surrounds the pool. The Elders, Hunting/Scout/Healer Paws, Kit, and Queens sleep in the same den and Scouts and Hunters sleep in the same den, so do the Leader and Second. The scouts explore the tunnels and find new routes. They mark the tunnels so they can find their way. Leader names are like Claws that Cast Shadows. Second names are like Claws of Shadow. Hunter/scout/healer/elder names are like Shadowed Claws. Learning Paw names are like, Shadow. And kit names are based of the mother. (Ex. ThunderClan=The main Clan is hidden within a deep group of oaks, but it is just grassland with a few oaks placed around ShadowClan=A thick pine forest, that has shadows all over for the cats to hide in WindClan=Rolling, high hills, but the Clan lives a small valley, with caves RiverClan=Not a full meadow, but a swampy one with a river running in it To the Fan-Made Clans: Mystic, Glow, and GalaxyClan=All three live high in the Smoke Caverns, a place in the highest of the mountains where only these cats are able to climb RainsweptClan=A flowery, but forest, area where it always rains Tree Cats=Near TC, but in a forest with more HIGHER trees Cavern Cats=In the large root of caverns near the meadow MeadowClan=A flowery, sunny meadow where for some reason, never gets cold at all Hope you like those suggestions! Bring in her kits. They’ve been asking for her.” I was confused, “Where am I? Where are my kits? SpruceLeap? RoseThorn? LittleKit? RainKit?” MoonCloud touched noses with me, “Sh, it’s okay, CripplePaw will bring them in.” I panicked, “How long have I been asleep?!” MoonCloud thought for a moment, “Hm, well, I’d say four or five days.” “THAT LONG?!” I gasped. “Oh? You’re awake! You don’t know me, I’m BlazeGem, my kits are DarlingPaw and NickelPaw.” I smiled weakly, “Yes, I’ve met them.” Then, my kits rushed in, “Mom!” “Oh thank StarClan.” “Mommy! Having fun, and living a good life. And I knew that I had made the right choice.

ShadowNight has been a loyal ShadowClan warrior. But when he and his kit, NightKit, are cursed to walk among the StarClan cats they must fight to survive as Hunt and Fight. Meanwhile, new warrior ShadeClaw must deal with holding the burden of saving KillerKit……but accidentally leaving FlowFar to the mercy of a fox leaving KillerKit a orphan. But as fate unravels, who will save them all? I have all the characters planned out but other than the general plot I have no idea how the story will unfold. Oc’s and conspiracy. Ok I am writing my own warriors fanfic series and I am open to oc’s some of the ones I have made are... Cinderstar: grey she cat with green eyes with darker flecks black paws, ears and tail tip. And a long scar on her face Mother to Starshine, Mapleleaf, Darkheart and Rainpuddle. Mate to Ravenstar, leader of Windclan. Leader of thunderclan. Generally feisty. Redfern: skinny fire Siamese she cat with one green eye and one blue eye and a scar on her nose (she received the scar from a badger that she fought with her two best friends Mistyfoot and Cinderstar) no mate and no kits. Deputy of thunderclan under Cinderstar’s reign Etc. I also have a conspiracy theory... firestar and sandstorm both have green eyes and “ginger” pelts. So how did Leafpool end up with amber eyes and brown tabby and white pelt?! I actually did some research on firestar and sandstorm’s family trees and found out that both of sandstorm’s parents had amber eyes. So that explains leafpool’s eyes, but what about her pelt? I know what your thinking “firestar’s mother, nutmeg, probably had brown tabby and white fur” but when I looked into it, her pelt is actually a russet color. I suppose Leafpool could have inherited the brown tabby on her from her aunt, princess, but I have a better idea... in the first series sandstorm and dustpelt were very close (personally I thought they were going to be mates) now if you look at the description of dustpelt, he is a brown tabby Tom with amber eyes. Doveshade was answering to be Dappledhares mate. She stood still for a long time. Olivegaze asked her something but it was muffled. “D-doveshade…Dappledhare…mates…” She mumbled. Wolftrot collapsed in heap. Everything went black. She woke up and looked into the face of Dappledhare. “Are you okay?” He asked quietly. She turned away from him. Jumpfang looked at her with a questioning look. “Go away.” Wolftrot sniffed. “I can’t.” *** Wolftrot was 21 moons old. And lonely. Her friends- Olivegaze and moonspring sat with her. “Wolftrot! Did you hear? Doveshades expecting my kits!” Dappledhare mewed happily. “Oh joy.” She said under her breath. “That’s great dappledhare!” Wolftrot said more loudly. He bounded away. “When will you see? When will you love me?” Wolftrot sighed. Olivegaze padded away to get food for them. “Olivegaze seems into you.” Moonspring murmured. “Olivegaze? Oh no. He’s too weak for love. It will crush him before he realizes it. Then he’s dead.” She announced. Wolftrot turned her head to look into the eyes of Olivegaze. “Olivegaze! I-I-“ She started. “Save it. No one will ever love you. Your not worth it!” He screamed at her before running out of camp. “See what I mean?” Moonsprint nodded. “He’s getting in the way.” They knew what they had to do. To cinderstar. Sandstorms parents r brindleface and redtail.... redtail has amber eyes brindleface has green eyes.... Next of all sandstorm is a light ginger almost sand color therefore mixing firestars regular ginger color to sandstorms sand ginger color u come up with light brown :l its nit rocket science... next time take time to notice that sandstorms description say LIGHT GINGER and nutmeg is a dark brown almost russet color amber eyes and white to go with it firestar got all his looks from his dad jake none from his mom nutmeg Warriors fact!- cloudtail or brightheart is distantly related to Half Moon because whitewing and halfmoon r both white with green eyes Wof fact!- Qibli has a sister :D Another warriors fact!- graystripe is related to some skyclan ancestor because he has skyclan blood and clear sky is jayfeathers ancestor therefore sandstorm and graystripe r related =) Fact- wanna know where sandstorm gets her skyclan ancestry from? It wasn’t as exciting as the first series. I loved the book, no doubt, but it was missing something. The first Warrior series was so good, but this book had a bad beginning. It got better though
