The Best Book I've Read This Year!. Davie, the main character, is an incredibly complex character. There are moments when I wanted to hug her and others when I wanted to slap her! But throughout the book I found myself all wrapped up in her story and unable to put the book down. Author Ernessa T. Carter makes you laugh, scream and cry...sometimes all at once! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend you pick it up and guarantee you won't regret it!

I didn't want it to end!. I became so attached to the characters I felt empty after reading the book! Great story about love, forgiveness & overcoming the past!

32Candles. 32candles is a good read!! I found myself neglecting chores in order to finish chapter after chapter. Highly recommend! I gave it four stars because the beginning was a little long and drawn out, but after that i couldn't put it down.

Could not put it down. This author did a job well done in writing this book. I really enjoyed it, felt it's pace was just right and the story one I enjoyed. This should be put to film.

Exceptional read!!!. I will preface my review by saying that I am a pretty slow reader...but when I picked up this book, it was so delicious, I found myself halfway through the book in 3 hours! What a refreshing read!!! I loved the characters, the story, the tone of the book...you are definitely going on a ride if you read this book! I had the pleasure of seeing the author do a reading from this book, and from that moment I knew it was going to be fascinating! Def giving it an enthusiastic two thumbs up!

Read this book.. I was sad when I reached the end of this book because it was such a great unpredictable story from a perspective that isn't shared often enough.

Fun read. Great book! The characters are engaging and keep you laughing, crying, and Cheering for them. I liked the foreshadowing, and even with that I still didn't see many of the events happening. Loved it!

32 Candles. First time reading this author. Not my usual book choice, but it certainly held my interest. I felt such empathy for Davi. There were times though that I felt the story got a little crazy, but all in all I enjoyed it. I always look forward to an HEA, especially now when our country is in such chaos.

Refreshing read. Finally a story examining the deep complexities of people and life. Characters were well developed however the storyline seemed a bit rushed at the end...maybe I just wanted a little more. I closed the book feeling full. Truly a book of substance...a refreshing change that ignited my summer of good reads.
