LoverChic58. This as a really good book. I had to read it for a book report when I was little and I re read it now and I really love it. It had a sad ending

Oregon Battle of the Books. I enjoyed both the audiobook and the ebook version of this story which appears on the Oregon Battle of the Books list this year. The story of the boy dealing with divorce while learning he has a talent for writing is masterfully crafted. The reader of the audiobook is superb. I look forward to sharing this title with my children in the coming weeks.

OK Book. Very good book. The beginning was interesting but then it started to get a little boring because it was mainly about how sad and bored Leigh was. Beverly could have come up with something better at the end. I like some of the jokes. Some parts of the story are a little sad. I like the letters he writes to Mr. Hens haw. Overall it was a pretty good book. Good Time management is the key. The book could have been better.

Good. Full of emotion I loved it so much!You should make even more books that are based on that sequence of events that Leigh Botts went through

Beverly Cleary Died age 104, 3/25/21. My sister and best friend recommended this book, I love it. She teaches 4th grade. Teachers all over the United States and Territories have kids write a letter to their favorite author, inspired by this book. The satire “YOUR QUESTION FOR AUTHOR HERE” (SEE GUYS READ) BY KATE DiCAMILLO & JON SCIESZKA is a fun satire on Dear Mr Henshaw. Both are excellent.

A favorite.... ...from childhood that still holds up today. I'm thinking of reading this to my fifth graders. It is touching and timeless.

Amazing!!!. I almost knew of this book but only read it in my 20's for my 6th grade class by chance. I really fell in love, it is so moving. It reminded me of being a kid in the 80's and my childhood. It was so real and raw, I felt his pain. This is one of my favorite books for its realness.

Five stars? Oh yeah!. This book was great! It really reached out to my heart! It was so nice to read a book that could mess with my feeling! Some parts I was happy and sometimes I was sad! Overall I think it is a great book! And I suggest you to read it!
