Excellent. I am in my twenties, and I still think of this book as amazing. In addition to the great story, it was a wonderful use of a certain literary concept which I cannot mention without ruining it. So you will just to read the book yourself, which I promise will not be a hardship. Then read the other books in the series. Turner really understands how to use a twist; these are the kind of books you read again.

Interesting. I read this book for school, and I thought it was awful until I reached the end. The ending is amazing and the characters were very charismatic and eventually likable! I loved it! I’m already rereading it. You need some patience to get to the last chapter, but it’s worth the wait.

The Thief. My daughter (10 yrs) received the series of "The Thief" as a gift. The whole family ripped through all three books in no time: we enjoyed them so much. The plots were anything but predictable and cliched. What a treat!

Not just any book. I'm not one to reed just any book I normally take my time and find a book at a local library or in the stir start reading and if after I feed 50-150 pages if I don't like it then I'll put it down I saw this book first in my local library and I read the reviews o. The back read the first page put it back when to the store and bought it I loved the book and I went on to reed all four of the books in the series and I have to say I think this book would make a great movie but I loved imaging all the characters so well described and yet left to your imagination at the same time Beautiful piece of work.

Love it!. I admit, I haven't read the book in several years, but I remember it was great. I'd defenately recommend it- I love how it blends history to make a new and unique era.

Great swashbuckling adventure. Despite other reviews to the contrary I found this story to build really well. The characters are well defined and the anticipation escalates so much so that you can't put the book down. Likable characters, great storytelling and a sense of this is all just getting started...I'm definitely reading the next one.

The thief. I LOVED this book! I strongly recommend this book to anyone who wants a great read with a surprising twist! It's a little slow to start, but get through the first 70 pages and it's the best book you'll have read in quite a while, I guarantee it!

Perfect. The Thief is one of the best-written books in existence. It's also a book that you can't read once. When I got to the end, I immediately read it again. The Inception of Books. It is simply inspired. Relatable characters, ingenious plot, perfect writing. I cannot recommend this enough. Do not look at further reviews, summaries, or anything else by this author. You will get spoilers. Which are unavoidable for the innards of the book. Read it. Then read it again, and again. And the rest of the series. You'll agree with me.

I wouldn't read it for fun.. I had to read this book for a summer reading project and through the first hundred pages of this book, I literally wanted to fall asleep. However, I really enjoyed Gen's confidence in his ability. Getting towards the ending of the book it became suspenseful and left me yearning for more. Overall, this wouldn't be a book I would to if I was just looking for an exciting book at the library.

Good book. I really liked the ending. One question, why is This book so cheap when others are more expensive?

a delight. the titular thief's narration is quick and captivating, and the characters are quickly endearing. i saw some plot points coming, and others caught me as off-guard as a novice swordsman. very excited to get to the next one!!

A well written teen book. This is a well written young adult book; it contains robust vocabulary, and intelligent age appropriate themes. Adults will also find it a sophisticated read.
