Amazing. Amazingly awesome

Amazing. This was one of the best I have read in ages..I had not left reviews for any of the many I have read before but felt compelled to do so upon finishing this a few minutes ago. Quite simply put, this is an amazing book.

Gets you thinking. This is an awesome book. For one, weather you are dying or not,it deals with a teenagers life. It adds a new spin on life,and I won't look at death the same again. It is a story of teenage hardships in school and other relationships. It does have a fair amount of language, my reason for 4 stars. Overall an awesome book

Deadline. What a surprise! I purchased this because it was on a deep discount rack, thinking if I decided I didn't like it, no biggie. Chris has a very natural way of storytelling. Add to that the deep, spiritual sub-text, and you get an awesome surprise that is not only an enjoyable read, but a thoughtful & insightful look at the universe, God & what is next. And all this in a way that never feels preachy or judgmental. I will definitely be taking a closer look at his other titles for a future read. Thanks Chris. And someone needs to be making an awesome independent film version of this story of hope and truth.

Eye. Opener

Awesome!. Very few books make you laugh out loud and cry like a baby, and I believe any book that can incite those emotions is a great book!! This is the first Chris Crutcher book I've read, and I am an instant fan!! I've recommended this book to everyone I know!
