Safe Haven. Loved this book. Read it twice and saw the movie. Nothing better than a wonderful Nicholas Sparks book to spend the day with. This one did not disappoint. Heart-warming!

Captivating!. I had seen the movie first and while I was browsing in target, I realized that the preview for this book was on the nook there. Knowing I loved the movie I tried getting the demo for myself! Shortly after I got the book and finished it later that week! It was truly a captivating book and it had me on every paragraph.

Great Story Teller - Horrible story line. Ugh, a tough read, but might be a bad experience that can produce a better attitude toward those who suffer this kind of life. Needed the ending.

Could not put it down!. I really liked this book. I am not a fan of romance. Usually, I find them annoying. However, the book was cheap and had a good ratings so I got it. I enjoyed every page. Once I got past a third of the book I could not put it down!! Great ending too.

Safe Haven Movie. First I read the book, as I usually do. Then I saw the movie, it was good but somewhat disappointing. The reason I say that is that it did not follow the book as well as I thought it could have. The book was fantastic. Please keep writing. Mary Sperry

Glad I read the book before movie. The movie was terrible, the book excellent. The lead heroine was mid-cast in the movie. One I will say is that Nicholas Sparks can write some good crazy! Tierney (crazy cop husband) was very far gone. That character element read like a Koontz book!

Terrific love story, terrific thriller!. The Guardian is an even better thriller from the same author, but fans of Nicholas Sparks will love this book! I know what I’m talking about because I’m a fan, even though this is one of only five books I’ve read by the author! The love story is the kind of sweet, touching romance you would expect from Nicholas Sparks and, as a thriller, it’s very suspenseful, building to quite a frightening climax! Highly recommended! A pleasure to read!

Ridiculous Story. I forced myself to finish reading this book because I'm one of those people that always has to complete a book - no matter how bad it is. I like romance novels, but this was just so over the top predictable and cheesy. The ending is also absolutely ridiculous and unsatisfying - don't waste your time reading it.

Should not be classified as romance. Not one of his finest. The writing was a bit clunky with the alternating point of views at random times. It wasn't consistent. There wasn't a lot of romance, just a few dates here and there. Didn't get to see the main characters develop together. The only thing enjoyable were the children. *SPOILER* - The twist at the end was so cheesy and inauthentic. Felt like the author wasn't sure how to tie the story together and came up with it.

Great :). After reading "The Lucky One" I gave up hope in Nicholas Sparks books. This one was great though, and I know I will continue reading his other books. This one was a little boring in the beginning, but it really picked up and I couldn't put it down :)

Great beach read. Someone who rated this book a 1 said it was “predictable.” It was relatively predictable that the two main characters would become involved. However, this book was anything but predictable. Occurrences in the plot were quite surprising and remained surprising to the end. Enjoyed it very much.

So good.. Such a fantastic book of romance/strength/ and girl power!! Reminded me of the movie "enough" with Jennifer Lopez only better because this was more of a love story. The only complaint I have is that there is no epilogue. I would of liked to know more of the ending.

Safe Haven. Very good book. The book was easy to read and it is action packed. Leading up to the ending & the ending was done very well.

Romantic but.... As usual Mr. Sparks can't disappoint, I felt however that the main characters needed to reach a deeper connection and the end needed to be more full of hope for the couple after the experiences they've gone through. I adore all his books, I thank him for also bringing to others attention the topic of serious domestic violence millions of women face everyday. Good read as usal
