Great read. I recommend this book to all. It's a great read.

Great Read. My first book on an iPad. Really helped pass a very long travel day. I'm really impressed with how easy it was to read on plane in cent seat between two others. Being able to just turn the pages with a touch at the margin really works well. By all means play with the font and size to find what works best for you. Reading from the illuminated screen was easy on the eyes in the poor light of the aircraft.

The Silent Sea. Very easy reading and addictive. The geographical, physical, historical and political descriptions need a great more research. A lot of mistaken information regarding Argentina.

Great read. Another great book by Cussler. Good followup series to the Pitt novels with the same great storytelling.

I liked it.. I got hooked on these books 2yr ago and they just get better every time

Typical Cussler with good characters and plot is new and fresh. A typical Clive Cussler novel with good character development from prior series. I liked the added development of the plot out of North America to Antarctica. Also, a great reminder of why we probably do not want to try and 'harvest' resources from this cold, desolate and beautiful continent. The iPad format allowed me to save energy and not disturb my wife with it's built-in 'night light.'

The Silent Sea. It has been a long time since I have read a book. I have been enjoying Clive Cussler's books as audio books for some time. I purchased this book intending it to be audio but made a mistake that has turned into a huge enjoyment. The "Silent Sea" has brought me back to the enjoyment of reading. I could hardly turn off my iPad to do anything because I couldn't wait to read the next suspenseful page. I highly recommend this and all of Clive Cussler's books. And I encourage reading!

A Ripping Yarn!. While Cussler may not be a great author in the literary sense, his greatness resides in his ability to come up with scenarios that are intriguing and believable. His descriptions of dramatic action are taut and exciting enough to overcome any stylistic deficiencies most of the time, including this story. A very entertaining and satisfying read!

Pleasant surprise. Took me a bit to get into it, but once I did it was very engaging. From the title I figured it was a sub book, but was pleasantly surprised to find an entirely different plot. I'd recommend this to anyone that likes military thrillers.

The Silent Sea. I have followed Clive from Rase the Titanic way before the ship was found. This is great forget your problems reading. I wish I had meet Him before he found the civil war submarine the Hunley. I can feel the pages come to life and wash away my modern day problems. Lee Starnes USCG Ret.

The Silent Sea - great action adventure. My first book on an iPad. I have a hard time putting down a good action/spy novel and this was no exception.

Tyoical Great Cussler Story. This is the first Cussler book I have read in some time. He follows his winning format and ties up several story lines together. We all know the outcome but it is always a good read,

Good. I thought the book was a really good book, but maybe not as good as a couple of others in this awesome series of books.

Creative. Great book and creative. I recently started reading this series of Juan Cabrillo books and found it interesting and this one no less thrilling. I look forward to more of this series.
