Great!. Just finished it. It was great! The unbiased description of a foreign culture from the eyes of a child is perfect. The plot is coherent and just perfect. Surely, this novel will stand the test of time.

One of the greatest novels I’ve ever read. Had to read this book for school and my god, did it surpass all my expectations. All at once, a fascinating and depth filled character study and a gut wrenching tale of a country destroyed by war. This book is heartbreaking, thought provoking, frustrating, but overwhelmingly powerful all the way through. Just….wow. I have so much I can say about this book. I just can’t believe how good this is.

Look into war torn Afghanistan. Felt very real for historical fiction. It was a very honest look into a flawed yet good man.

The kite runner/بادبادك باز. It's one of the best books that I have ever read and I cried for Hassan our whole family read it we cried one by one I am hazara too but till now hazaras situation is the same like past , every child of hazara saw ,listened and passed it in Afghanistan,every one should read it, it's really perfect and gulorious dear Khalid.

TKR. I read this book for a school assignment but I’m glad they assigned it. Every little detail of Amir’s words stuck with me. I found myself crying in many parts of the book, but I’m glad I did. If I would to recommend any book that would stick with you, it would be this one.

The Kite Runner, so excellent. This book was thought provoking. It shared insight into life, relationships, loyalties and hardships. The author described the love of friends so well including insecurities, peer pressure, bullying and choices we make that can affect us throughout a lifetime. Each crossroad we choose makes us who we are despite regrets and misgivings. A chance to right wrongs is rare but one we all wish we could have. The Kite Runner is well worth the time and emotion evoked while reading it.

Fantastic. I loved this book. Easy to read, captivating story. Couldn’t put it down. I enjoyed how he described Afganistán also with all of the beautiful things about this country this is not forgotten

If I could give it six stars, I would.. This will be one of my all-time favorite books. A Thousand Splendid Suns is great too…not sure which I enjoyed more. Read them both!

Heart-rending. Stayed up all night to Finnish reading this. A story that tears the reader’s heart in to pieces. It is very frustrating to think millions in Afghanistan are facing such inhumane situations.

A few mistakes but a great book. I've never been a book reader or a person that writes reviews on books but this one is special. I was suggested by a friend to read this book and oh boy I am grateful for the suggestion. I am an Afghan and grew up in Afghanistan. I knew most of the settings used in this book which made really nostalgic in a way. One the things that noticed about the book that sort of bothered me was the fact that Amir and Baba were both pashtuns but in the book they are always conversing in Farsi other than I loved the book.

Still Amazing!!. Read this book years ago!!! Forgot how much I loved it! I cried so many times I lost count!! Now I’m off to read Thousand Splendid Suns!!!

My favourtie novel. This is one of my best novel. Te character and the incidents of this novel are expressed in a fabulous way. I waited for more than 6 months to buy this book and study as there were no stock available. An when i got this book i was overwhelmed to get my favourate novel.

10 stars. I cried from start to finish. What an amazing story.

Innocence Betrayed. Innocence, it seems, cannot be allowed to thrive anywhere in the world. It gets smothered under the weight of war, pride, hate, ignorance, and lies. Even the youngest are guilty of snuffing out the brightest dreams of some through unspeakable acts. The whole story will break your heart and at the same time light an ember of hope for something better. The promise of a country is also not allowed to materialize in this novel. The slow decay of potential is brought about by a hatred fueled caste system, religious infighting, and the moral less management of inept leaders. Through the dissolution of a country we see the cascading dissolution of generations of connectivity, dreams, and culture. For all of the loss we do see hope spring again. Redemption and the truth are the soil and water that nourish that sapling of tomorrow. As heavy as the events of this book are, that little nugget of reclamation is enough to balance almost all the pain and grief. It’s a reminder of who we are to each other and the duty to uplift humanity, that we have to one another.
