Amazing. This is a book with a cold and cruel reality of today’s world and it has unexpected things and is not like other books with candy and rainbow endings this one has emotions and also mystery

The Bad Beginning…. The is smart, yet the middle. One is wise, yet oldest. One is small with surprisingly good chewing skills, yet the youngest. One cannot live without this book. With these personalities together, it is most likely you will be blinded, by this book I shall read more. -Wise and True- A good day to the person reading this, for who’s face is not revealed.

Awesome Books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I love these books! Once you start reading them, you can never look away. It would always get you in the book. I would sometimes say, “No dont do that, Voilet!” or “Run,Run,Run while the little legs of yours can carry you!!!”They are so emotional too. Who ever reads these and manage not to get nightmares, you will do fine. You just have to make sure that you are not scared of people that have one eybrow and an eye on their left ankle. ;)

Boring!. I'm only 9 and within the first page, I was bored out of my skull!!!!!!! Don't know why people love it.

Pattssss. Loved the book. It's amazing how a kids' book can be so entertaining. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

In my opinion, this is a bad book.. I don’t want to in any way ruin anybody elses love for these books. Everybody is allowed their opinion. But, in my opinion, this is a really bad book. It bored me! It was nothing more than boring, cringy, and stupid, to me. To me, these are not the great books everybody says they are.

Great read for late elementary and middle school kids. My daughter is headed to 6th grade. We read this together so we could discuss it. I love the vocabulary used (those defined and those not). It also gave us good opportunity for various life discussions. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

Gosh, the best book EVER!. It’s sad, but turns for the better (as in negative energy) and, if you look at it in a positive way, they are alive, aren’t they? Why does it take them until the seventh book to realize that?

Wow is all I had to say. My writing teacher talked about these books in class once, and I decided to start reading them a few weeks ago. OH MY MERCY. THANK YOU TO MY WRITING TEACHER!!! I’m a writer, and these books have influenced my writing style, in a positive way. Lemony Snicket (also known as Daniel Handler 😉) tells these tales in such a delightful narration, even though these are sad stories. Snicket portrays the characters in a real way, and he lets you into the lives of orphans who are miserable, but set an example for us all by persevering in the hardest of times. Beautifully written, delightfully amusing, and oddly weird, are the words I would use to describe them. Those are good things tho 😉

AMAZING BOOK!. I’m a person who usually doesn’t enjoy reading. But, when I started reading this book, I couldn’t put it down. It’s written in a very intriguing way and it’s very suspenseful. Definitely recommend!

:). Read this book as a child and had to return to the series and instead of starting at book 5 where I left off I went back to the beginning since the movie came out and turned the events around and I wanted to have them straight... He is a great author and keeps the reader wanting more!!!

Hooked!!. The person next to me in school was reading these. I was a tiny bit nervous to try the series, but intrigued anyway. Then my sister, who is 10 came home going on and on about " The Best Book Ever!!!". I was now more tempted than ever but was still holding back. She finally forced me to at the library. I was like, WHAT THE HECK IS THIS AWESOME STUFF!!! 🙈🙈🙈😉😋 I kept reading the books and halfway through the "The End" when I thought wow, this went by too fast. I am still reading and enjoying!!! 💟💟💟 I have read " The Bad Beginning " four times!!

A Series of Unfortunate Events. I love the series so much! I have read them all 2 times and I plan on doing it again. I like how all the books describe the author talking to you in different parts of the story. I also like how Lemony Snicket tells us what difficult words mean in the context of the story instead of a definition. All in all I love the series a lot and I think you should read it to.

Great book great read!. I read "The Miserable Mill" to my students the past year and they ranked among one of their favorites. They were truly engaged from beginning to end. This book takes you through the series of unfortunate events of the Baudelaire orphans. The book does not hesitate to tell you up front stop reading this book if you like happy stories. From that moment forward, I along with my students, we were hooked. The book begins tragically, with the death of the Baudelaires' parents and continues to spiral into tragic event after tragic event with moment of shimmering hope. In addition to being a great read, this book has excellent vocabulary, which is explained right after the word. He author does a great job switch between first person and third person; it is as if he is watching the events unravel before your very eyes. Great book great read.

The bad beginning. These books are a Amazing and there’s vocabulary that you never see books it’s funny and sad at the same time but every book has a story and tell you a little of the other book you might have read an read in the book 5 and I can’t wait to find out what happens with the book

Steven James. I love the book I enjoyed every minute of it it was way better than the TV series on Netflix but the TV series on Netflix wasn’t as bad but the book is always better.

It’s very good. I didn’t like mystery books as I thought this series would focus a lot on them but I liked the dark features put into this book making it kind of horror and dark. That’s why I like it tho ❤️

Breath Taking. This is by far one of the most amazing books I have ever read. Not only is it a fast paced thriller that is sure to keep your heart pumping it has secrets that are still waiting to be discovered. Truly the cleverest books ever written for children. As an adult I truly believe this set of books is the most gorgeous and satisfying series of books I've ever read. It's a set of books that is not patronising and doesn't dumb anything down for the reader. Literature geeks will love the references which range from Orlando to JD Salinger. Just awesome from start to finish.

A Series of Unfortunate Events-The Bad Beggining. This book is an extremely entertaining piece full of mystery and pasta with secrets lurking in every corner.

Best book. I’m up to book number 11 and every book is a roller coaster of thrills. No.1 isn’t as thrilling as the rest so don’t stop there continue the most amazing book of your life.

The most amazing book. This book is the most amazing thing I have ever read in my life. I had no idea what was going to happen next. Every page you turn in this book will make you appreciate what you have. Funny, witty and simply fantastic!. I loved this book! Right from the beginning! What especially caught my attention was the letter at the start of the book, it really pulled me in! I also loved the way Lemony Snicket introduced a few new words or phrases every chapter and classified them beautifully. Definitely reading the rest of the series!!

Series of unfortunate events the bad beginning. I think that this was a very sad book but a good one I could read it over again !!!!!! I thought that the characters were entertaining and had great traits. There was a lot of things going on but sluggishly too much. The bad beginnings was a suspenseful book and kept me on the edge of my seat. I thought it was a wonderful book it had a couple of mistakes but it was such a good book I didn't,mind . I would recommend this book as it met all my needs to be a good book . There were many different connections I could make to this book as if you you like the movie Annie then you would like this book . The connection between this book and Annie is they are orphans in the story and so is Annie they both go throw tough times with there foster parents I liked this book and I hope you do to !
