The Dark Wind. Tony Hillerman. A corpse is found with it’s hands and feet scalped. Next an airplane crashes possibly involved in drug trafficking. Sergeant Jim Chee witnesses the airplane crash while investigating vandalism to a windmill formerly on Navajo land now belonging to the Hopi tribe when the Navajo were forced off by the Indian Bureau of Land Management. Sgt. Chee is slowly unraveling the clues and a crooked DEA agent whose only motivation is money. Another excellent read in this series!!!
