The Ranger’s Apprentice. This entire series consists of some very fine reading. I bought the books for my son and he begged me to read them so he would have somebody to talk with about them. I have to say that I approached this task with all of the enthusiasm I’d reserve for a dental visit. Needless to say, I truly enjoyed the series and have read them several times now.

Can't get enough Ranger's Apprentice!. John Flanagan is a wizard! He captivates the reader with endearing characters and none stop action.

Worst book of the series. So disappointing! The worst book in this great series - a good idea, but the plot is poorly executed and overly predictable. The villain is not believable and the heroes make too many obvious mistakes. Hopefully the next book will be as great as the earlier books.

Amazing. I first read the rangers apprentice series when I was in 3rd grade. I am now a senior in high school and I still read this series over. It is in my top two favorites tied with eragon

Kings of Comnel. I skipped books 4-7 cause book three was really boring, after reading this one I think he has grown in his writing ability now I m hooked on the 9th book Halt's Peril. It is pretty good and I recommend it for young adults.

Only a fool wouldn't buy this series. You know those books that once you start reading it's impossible to put it back down? Well look no further because the Rangers Apprentice series fully delivers. You might say that a series this long could be overly repetitive but thats hardly the case with this series. Each unique book is written in such a way that keeps a reader foreshadowing future events all the time. There are some moments when the book can seem repetitive but that only happened to one book and not to mention the repetitive aspects were only five pages. If you're looking for a great series this is it for you! Like the title says, you would be a fool not to purchase this series!
