Good beach read. Amazing book to pass the time in the sand and sun! My first Hilderbrand book and I was impressed!

Love. Love. Love. I simply love this book! The imagery is amazing! The feel for the characters is pristinely described. This is one of those books you would enjoy reading sitting on your front porch with a cup of tea or coffee in the morning, listening to the petite morning sounds outside. I love reading books about romance and characters trying to run a business. What a wonderful composition!

The Blue Bistro. Started out slow and got better. I would have added more to the ending. I found myself putting it down for a few days and going back to it later. As I got further into the book, it got harder to put down. I would have written a different ending!

Sucked me in. This was my third of her books. Loved Barefoot, did not like The Affair...LOVED The Blue Bistro! I felt attached to the characters, I felt like I was in Nantucket, and I found myself wanting to go there to find this gem of a restaurant. Great summer read!

Touchy!. There's a lot in this book. A lot of emotions, food and so on. Intensity and drama. Give it a try and you'll see.

So dull!!. I’m amazed at the high reviews for this insipid book. What a yawner! Characters were so underdeveloped you couldn’t give a rip about any of them. The storyline is beyond dull. If you love to read about food and the minute details of the restaurant business with the most boring romantic storyline, then this book is for you. If you actually want to stay awake while reading, skip this!

Amazing!. Great book! I'm now a fan of the author. I've never been attached to characters before this book. I wish there was a sequel. The writing can trail on a little, and I wish the ending was more elaborate, but overall it is superb!

The Blue Bistro. I enjoyed it tremendously. When it was time to quit reading it to get ready to eat, do a few household chores I just wanted to read a few more pages. Can’t wait to start reading a next novel written by Elin Hilderbrand.

It ended to abruptly. I wanted more. Thought it was a full book.. That’s all .

Great insights into restaurant business. Great characters and humorous stories from the Blue Bistro, a trendy restaurant on Nantucket Island. The main plot revolves around Adrienne, a nomadic 28 year old who lands a job unexpectedly as the assistant to Thatcher Smith, the Bistro’s charismatic owner. Suspense is created as Adrienne tries to figure out Thatcher’s enigmatic relationship to the restaurant’s brilliant chef, Fiona Kemp. Although I found parts of the book’s second half a little melodramatic, I really enjoyed the book overall!

Loved it. I thought this was a great read. If you have ever worked as a waitress you will be able to relate in so many ways. Good story.

Underwhelmed. Have loved all of Hilderbrands books I have read. Wasn’t a fan of this one. Thatchers character was so under developed.
