Fascinating. In the immortal words of Spock, I find the story, the characters, and writing, fascinating.

Short Story Fun. It’s nice to have a quick read from the Old Man Universe. Still a grab and hold on story. Well done.

Worth every penny. Fun little short story in Scalzi's Old Man's War universe. Not necessary to know the universe to read this story however.

Fun little story 85 pages. A genetically modified human gets into a fist fight with an adorable little alien half his size. As long as you are not expecting a full blown sci fi novel, this a quick, fun read. 85 pages.

Disappointed. I paid for and downloaded this "book" from iBooks. It's just a short story. I love this author, especially the Old man wars series but where is the rest of this "book" that I bought? Think I'll stick with Kindle for now. My rating is for iBooks, not John.

As good as all the other Scalzi work. I've read quite a bit of Scalzi's work, both full length novels and short stories, and it is always good no matter the length. This story is no exception.

Had me laughing out loud. Scalzi manages to intertwine diplomatic intrigue, hand to hand human vs alien combat and hilarity. The best $.99 I've spent in a long time.
