Waiting for the next one.... Move over Stephanie Plum. Great storyline. Lot's of potential for a long series.

Disappointed. This was a great read to stressful ends of the day but left me irked it was as short as it was - both in length and ending - for the price I paid. Cute but read it in the bookstore for the few hours it'll take you to finish it.

Wicked Appetite. If a book could be a bon bon, then this would be it! Janet Evanovich's books are a nice break from med school studies. Light and entertaining. I can read one in a rare afternoon off. This one did not disappoint!

funny. rollicking between the numbers tale, is a great October read. Laughed so hard I couldn't read all of a few pages.

Stay Away. I guess it's a halfway decent travelogue for Salem, Mass but it sure isn't close to the Plum books. It's only redeeming value is that you can read it in two hours

Must Read for Evonovich Fans!. Hilarious, suspenseful, touching, well written... can’t say enough good things about Janet’s writing style and this book in particular. Did I mention how hilarious it was? A fun read!!

Easy read. Cute story and very easy to read. If you enjoy the Plum series you will like this one too. Worth it.

Gut splitting laughter. This book made me laugh as hard as I did when I first discovered Janet Evanovich

Comparable to the others. Similar to the other Diesel books, but not Plum this time...and clearly set up for sequels. And JE is still dodging the more serious sexual aspect...which will continue. No exploding cars, but there's a flying broomstick and some other magic, appropriate for Salem, Mass.

Wicked Appetite. Somewhat amusing characters but end of the book is an absolute disappointment. Makes the whole book less then average!

Hungry for more.. Amazingly addictive. I always love this author. I cannot wait to read the rest of these books.

Wicked !. I love it when I laugh out loud when reading. It means you & the author are on the same wavelength. So how many cars does diesel drive? I am from this neck of the woods and really enjoyed the descriptive narration. Not so thrilled with the ending but it leaves the sequel option open. Loved the banter, cat, Carl

Same story, only names have been changed. Plot is quirky and overly predictable. Characters are repeats of the Plum series, names have been changed but there is a real sense of deja vu. For readers who can't get enough of the Plum series this series will be a nice fill in read while you wait for the next book, much more appealing then reading another one of those horrid holiday books that she has cranked out in the past. Can't help wondering when these two stories will intertwine; hope not that would be the final "jump the shark" moment for me. Wanted to rate as 2 1/2 but system limits me to whole stars.

Loved this book!!!. I thought this book was a very cute easy read and absolutely loved it! I really wish she would make it a series with them having to find the other stones.

Good read . . . . . . BUT. Enjoyed the book, and I’ll read others in the series. But after 24 Stephanie Plum books, I kept on expecting Grandma Mazur to turn up with Lula. And my spell checker came up with Mazur after I wrote Maz! And Grandma Mazur wouldn’t have needed 4 bugs to pop a coffin.

WickedvAppetite. This series takes place in Salem MA. Lots of mysticism. It took awhile to adjust to the theme. These books are not like the Stephanie Plum series. (I read all of those.) There is a heroin, an unmentionable with unknown magical skills. The books are humorous, exciting, and fun to read. The author's talent for humor is in this series, too.

3rd Janet read and another delete. Love her humor and imagination ...kool writing style makes for njoyable reads..will Continue to read more of her work for sure

Not Very Engaging. Really dragged, 2 story lines running side by side that have no connection or reason for being in the same book. An attempt at romantic tension fizzles in the face of repeated references to why romance can’t be pursued, from both characters. Just comes across as stupid. And there are major loose ends left dangling or unexplained & not in a way that leaves you excited for a sequel. I was sorry the book fell so flat for me, I very much wanted a fun & funny read that would lead into a whole series.

Big Fan. I really enjoyed this book. It was very similar to her Stephanie Plum series but that's why I liked it! I love the humor and that they used Diesel and referred back to the Plum books. It was a new story line that I will def continue to read! Its an easy read with some big laughs!!

Wicked Read. Loved this book! Took me a few chapters to remember Disel, but love her bringing him back for his own series. Can't wait for the next one!!!

Wicked appetite still leaves you hungry. I have been told by many people how wonderful Evanovich's books are, but I guess I just don't get it. I liked it and plan to read the next in this series but it does not make me want to pick up any of her other books. I enjoyed the story but it cow.d have been better. Not something I wanted to pay $12.99 for.

Wicked appetite. I enjoy reading all of her books. I do feel the quality is dropping off a tad. I don't know anyone who has kept it going as long as she has though so hats off to her. I still lol and i keep waiting to read more. So overall another success!

Cotton Candy. Not as clever as Stephanie Plum, but still a pleasant romp through the candy aisle at the grocery store.

Loved it. What a great book and adventure. It was fun and exciting all wrapped up in a good book. Love the tension between Diesel and Lizzy but my favorite character has to be Carl the monkey! Can't wait to read the next one. Keep the series going Janet!

Fluff. Silly fluff. Lizzy is Stephanie, Glo is Lula. Clara is sort of Connie-ish. Lizzy's dad is Stephanie's dad with fewer headaches. Homemade cupcakes instead of pineapple upside down cake and cluck in a bucket. The only thing un-plummish was the lack of a crazy grandmother. Well, at least I know not to waste money buying the next one. If I'm bored and in the mood for fluff, I'll borrow it from the library.

Best author!. Janet is my favorite author, despite this book is like the plum series it still is a fantastic book! I have read every book of hers and wait for new ones to come out I have yet to find another author I like as much as Janet!
