Counterfiet lady. This book was awful...boring storyline, predictable plot, unlikable whiney heroine...why did I finish it you ask? I have to read books in the order they were written, I hate to start in the middle. I became a fan with knight in shining armor ... Have read them all since and now after many years, am starting over. The early writing and the current stuff is no where near the quality of the stuff in the middle.

This book is good no matter what people say!. I loved this book! It was good and captivating. It may have been an unbelievable story line, but isn't that was romantic FICTION is? Just that FICTION. it was good and I loved it as a book to captivate my fantasies.

very good historical romantic book. read this book many years ago when it first came out and simply loved it..you have to be a romantic to enjoy such a book and i can't wait to read it again!

Counterfeit lady. Did not like the ending, too abrupt. Romance novels are like modern day fairy tales. Happy endings are good but if I thought that real life persons had to suffer so many tragic events in such a short time to reach that happy ending I'd want to give up now. Happy ending or not this was depressing. Bama
