Cerydwynn. This is my favorite book ... I have read it over and over and laugh and cry every time... It may be about alcoholism but I love how the characters interact with each other and I still love the romance between the two main... Ah ~ to have a knight... What a dream ~

Beautiful!. I am not one for romance nor do I pick books up for a second read very often. Ms. Deveraux's works are such sweet reads and completely relatable to the everyday woman's fantasy. This happens to be my personal favorite and I can't recommend it enough!!

What's wrong with the pages?. Chapter one' first six pages were all screwed up. I got the sample and can't even tell what's going. Is this what the paid copy will look like?

Wonderful. This was my very first time travel romance. I read it years ago, and I still love to read it now. This book started a journey for me, and after 100's of books, 1,000's of pages, it's still one of my very favorites. You will not be disappointed.

We all love it! Jude Deveraux knows how to write characters that make you fall in love with them. You almost hate for the book to end! Thank you, Jude, for this treasure. It deserves to be in the top ten essential reads!

Brings back memories. I read this when I was like 21yrs old, reading it again 20yrs later was like putting your favorite movie on and grabbing the popcorn! It truly is one of my most favorite stories!!

I wanted to love this book. I like it... I was so engrossed in the story that I couldn’t put this book down for days! But the ending left me feeling as empty and broken-hearted as Dougless in the first few chapters. No spoilers.... but the ending just wasn’t satisfying for me. At the very least I would have enjoyed an epilogue.

Tissues are a must. I absolutely loved this book. What a wonderful love story. You will laugh and cry and fall in love with Nicholas and Douglass. I read it in 2 days. So sad to see the story end!!!!!

Stands the test of time. Read this book years ago, and the story still warms my heart. Very, very good read, it's a story full of magic, chemistry, tenderness and it sweeps you away. Thank you Jude Deveraux for the masterpiece!

Excellent historical romance. I didn't want it to end. Brilliantly done. I just finished Outlander and this book was everything that book wishes it could be.

A Knight in Shining Armor. What an amazing book! I couldn't stop turning the pages and an almost 500 page book was finished in two days! Ms. Devereaux makes it so easy to fall in love with her characters. She gives them such substance and life that you feel their sorrow and joy as if it were your own. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a little romance and adventure!

Enjoyed It!. This isn’t my usual “read”, but I loved it. It’s whimsical, sometimes annoying, but overall, a fun story. This is the second book I’ve read by this author, and I plan to read more. A great escape!

Everything I hoped it would be!. I laughed, I cried, I blushed, my heart ached… it had the enchanting intrigue of a more mature Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian star-crossed lovers storyline of sorts brought to life in “modern” 1980s and Elizabethan sixteenth century. A marvelously enjoyable read!!

Love the story. I really really love this story, and always come back to this book every year or so. That said, I wish there was more detail. While it would make it quite a thick book if there was, I felt like certain parts were rushed in order to move through the plot. It doesn’t keep me from reading it though!

A wonder. Who would have thought a book on time travel and romance could have made such a great story. If there is any doubt cast all fears aside and read on. The deatils were so vivid and the personalities were so real. Five stars, hanky at hand and a warm blanket...ready, set read until your heart sings!
