The Secret. I read this book and help me in life changes and it’s hard to explain but if think happy thought and use the stuff say and Meditate happy of a positive nature thought and have faith and believe in yourself, and what you want can come true.

Repackage Alger Myth. If a positive mindset/outlook is all it takes to have a “good” life, then there would be no poverty or starvation, racism or sexism. If positivity makes positive things happen, that would also mean negative people would have “bad” lives. They don’t. This is totally bogus and just one more way to blame people who are poor, disabled, or disadvantaged in anyway for their lot in life. If this changed your life, you need to get a life. This isn’t science. This isn’t new. This isn’t profound. This is nothing more than the Alger Myth repackaged from the late 19th century. If you want something life changing, look elsewhere. This is a waste of time and money. Manifestation doesn’t work. It’s just something to make people feel like they have power in anxious situations. It doesn’t DO anything. It doesn’t make anything actually happen. If it did, every person who believed they would win the lottery would. In fact, after reading this book I used all of its “principles” to manifest a world where everyone was rooted in reality. Sadly, people are still touting this book as life changing. Too bad, too. Please go read a book on science people.

Uhuh. That’s not how things work.. So here this goes. If you want a self positive attitude and you want to spend time in reading go for it. If you’re logical and have studied truth of life. Than this isn’t for you. And is a waste of money. If you were given this as “homework” for a job. Than you are part of a pyramid scheme that you can never achieve their promises of success, freedom, and prosperity. You’re just feeding into their own success, freedom, and prosperity. A positive mindset can help. But this was a historical book that has been published in the 19th century. I listened for about an hour and it’s the same repetitive story. I thought so it appeared. Very few can do Magick. People who do card tricks buy special cards for their tricks to seem real. People who read tarot and can talk to spirit. Are a rare breed. You’re better off in going to college and learning a skill. Mastering it than becoming an entrepreneur. Trust. This is a waste of time.

Science or gut feeling: Where do you stand?. Alright, I'll admit, "The Secret" stirred up more thoughts than I initially expected. Nowadays, everyone's chanting the mantra of 'following the science'. But then, this book throws a curveball, asking: where does that personal gut feeling, that strong hunch, fit in with all the data-driven logic? Einstein and Tesla, icons of the science world, still made some of their biggest leaps based on intuition. The world of science seems split right now. We've got those boundary-pushers on one side, always asking the "what ifs" and on the other, those who stick to the strict rulebook, making sure every 'T' is crossed. I've got to wonder: might we be missing some game-changing insights because they're a bit too... unconventional? Now, "The Secret" isn't pretending to be a research journal. It's suggesting we zoom out a bit, trying to see the bigger picture that blends facts with feelings. Given how fast things are changing around us, maybe there's something to this idea of harmonizing hard evidence with our inner vibes. I'm not entirely sold, but I can't deny that it's pushing me to reconsider how I see the world.

The Secret. So uplifting and so powerful.

Naysayers heads up. The point of the book is simple, what you think, believe, and embrace come back to you, be it good or bad. Those of you who trash the book missed the point. Being positive in the face of adversity will turn things around. Hard work sure, but hard believing in that work matters.

Just sugarcoated with empty words. I do not recommend this book, it just repeat the same concept again and again — Asking the universe for what you want, and believe that you will eventually get it, the final step is to wait the universe give you the feedback and you will receive what you want. It’s like telling you to have faith and belief in a supernatural power (In this case, it is Law of Attraction) based on conviction than scientific evidence. The whole book is not logical, just sugarcoated with empty words and stories.

This book changed everything. This book was the first book I read that made me look at my life in a whole different way when I was depressed and thought I could never live a happy life. This book changed everything.

Book content. It is a tad bit confusing at first until you do some follow-up research. Turns out that a lot of this stuff is used in hypnosis, which can actually bring some change on a subconscious level if you practice it regularly. The book does contain useful information; it just does a bad job of delivering it coherently.

Superb Book. Man, this book is amazing every single page you read. The amount of information and positivity it provides just blew my mind. I could not get enough of this book. I will be reading this again, but for now, on to the second book in this series!!!!!

M. While the general principles of the secret are superb, it did not connect particularly well with me. I find the emphasis is sometimes misdirected, leading to the wrong mindset. That being said, it is definitely recommendable, but if you don't connect after a few chapters, move on and find another book because all you're gonna read is more of the same.

Repetitive. A great concept, but a little overdone. The book can be summed up as beleive you can accomplish something and the universe will make it happen for you. I believe in the power of positive thinking but disagree with the reasons for the results given by the author. I think your beliefs affect the way you approach every situation. Not the universe working magic for you.
