Change of Heart. Loved this book. Haven't read too much of her because I had to get used to her style. This one was very heart wrenching to say the least.

Page turning and provocative for some. Is he or isn’t he? Murder or something else? Minutes into the book, you have suspicions, and you want to keep reading to confirm them. Along the way, readers might learn a thing or two about scripture and how the current canon was formed. An unexpected weaving together of modern questions with a 2000 year old narrative. Glad I read it.

Change of Heart. It would have been great if it had been an original idea. Total ripoff of The Green Mile.

Touching. This is a beautiful story! You might ask how a book about a murder and the man convicted of it be beautiful, you just have to read it! It was so emotional to learn Shay’s story. The author is a favorite of mine. She never disappoints! Highly recommend.

Another Picoult Page-Turner. I loved this book! Whenever i can guess the ending, or part of an ending, I have to take away a star. In this case, I knew from the very beginning that this man had interrupted a scene of sexual abuse, which led to the unfortunate and additional killing of the little Elizabeth. I felt that was obvious. The rest of the book though …. Magical! And the ending was superb! Love me some Jodi Picoult and on to the next one!

Wow 5 ⭐️. If someone told me about the religious discussion of the book, I’d probably pass. I was hooked by the sample chapters I read yesterday morning, immediately purchased and consumed straight through. I’ll likely update after I think about it further. ⚠️ POTENTIAL SPOILER BELOW ⚠️ One thing I do wish for was more of a follow-up for June in regard to the information she gleans about her family toward the end of the book. Wouldn’t she want to be certain and if so, move Elizabeth elsewhere?

Spectacular!!!!. I'd give this book infinite stars if possible!! I love how the storyline intertwined with the lives of the characters and the ultimate surprise at the ending makes this definitely a "tear-jerking" book. I caught myself crying on the subway on my way home from work, while reading this book. One moment I laughed and the next I reached for tissue. I loved it. This is defined let the best novels I've ever read in my life! (And I've read a lot of novels)

Decent. This book was okay. It was interesting and showed some good depth in it in terms of the lead character having a possible autism spectrum disorder or something. It was nice to see a protagonist portrayed to accurately showcase the inner and outer struggles of neurodiverse people. It was still pretty predictable in some ways, confusing in others (hard to tell what she meant as literal vs symbolic), a specific detail that’s important to the plot just seems quite a bit far-fetched, and the character Maggie being a size 14 (really quite average and not at all plus size) being judged solely on her weight and being described as really big was super off-putting. If you’re going to make your character fat, make her actually fat. I’m a size 16/18 and still not immediately judged as fat by most people...

Good title. A real page turner and one to make you think!!
