Great read. Great story, and nice introduction to the world in which Mitch Rapp operates, even if he's not in it yet. Might even call it a cautionary tale for those politicians who place their own interests above those of the nation. I do agree with comments about excessive typos. No conversion software is perfect, and this version obviously was not proof read after it was converted to epub. Nonetheless, nothing terribly distracting for most readers.

Great book, bad E-book version. Absolutely brilliant. The book that launched Vince's career. You will NOT be disappointed. Not for the liberals though. However, the scan or however they do this ebooks is horrible. I read the original hardcover years ago and it did not have these grammatical errors. Must have come from the transition. That is why it has only 4 stars. If you can ignore this, buy the book.

Creative Prose. My first read by Vince Flynn. I was given a recommendation by a relative and it didn't disappoint. Great action and intellect.

Love Vince Flynn books. I read this book for a second time and enjoyed every moment. It's frightening because I really think there are similar corrupt politicians in Washington. I wish there was a real Mitch Rapp to clean up the mess in Washington. We the people have let these dirty tricks politicians run our country into the ground for too long. Vote them all out, Term Limits, and lets start over.

Term Limits. I love most Flynn books but this one was terrible. Full of characters you despise. Not one character in this book to care about or root for. It's very difficult to enjoy a book where every single character in it is despicable. I put down this atrocity half way through. Please don't waste your money and time on this

An Outstanding (and Not Entirely Unbelievable) Story. In today's volatile and flammable political environment, it is not entirely inconceivable that a story like this could occur. Granted, this may swing way to the extreme, but that is why it's a story. I found this to be exciting, very well-written and full of little moments of surprise even though the author tends to give the reader a pretty good sense of who, what and why throughout. Highly recommend!

Great read. Action packed and enlightening. I have read several by Vince Flynn and this one is my favorite.

This could have been written today!. I did not find the typos to be pervasive, nor irritating. I think there were two misplaced periods, but none of this distracted from the book for me. If "we the people" would have stayed more engaged in the political processes, this book would have had little reason to be written! Excellent read, particularly for a first time author!

Term limits was a fun read.. This was my first Flynn book and I have to say I loved it. He tells a straightforward story with the good guys winning. I'm sure English teachers would have a field day, but who cares. I think it would make a great movie. On to reading transfer of power.

Term Limits. One of the best books I’ve read this year! Could not put it down, great prequel to the Mitch Rapp storyline.

A first novel — and it shows. I started reading Flynn's books with his latest, American Assassin. Having enjoyed it immensely I sought out this first book next. It is obviously an early work and suffers in comparison to his later works. First, this is a very political book — not in the story line but in the story telling. The plot is artificial and serves to make a political point. Frankly, it is unbelievable and simplistic. Second, whether this is an artifact of the book's conversion to an ePub book or not, there are more than 50 glaring typos and errors in typesetting — quite distracting. However, there are flashes of Flynn's story-telling and character development genius even with the aforementioned flaws. Had I started with this title I may not have continued with Flynn's books. But, since I know his work and workmanship grows I did enjoy getting a look at his early work. In short: read this book but don't judge the body of Flynn's work just off this one title.

Awesome. 5 Stars. Great, great, GREAT. I am only 4 or 5 books into Flynn’s Rapp series. I never knew this existed until I read a post from one of Jack Carr’s regular email newsletters. Carr wasn’t kidding when he said that this was a remarkable book. It’s from 1997 I think but Flynn nailed it. The book underscores just how desperately broken our government is and probably has been for far longer than we want to think about. The wide array of dirty, incompetent and criminal politicians, bureaucrats and the highest ranking administration officials (in this book, even the president) is enough to boggle the mind. The true problem is that none of it is shocking. We are living it and, thankfully I guess, don’t know just how prevalent it is. This was a book of Good vs Evil. Good prevailed. I wonder if Stephen King has read it. If he has, I wonder if he wishes he wrote it...

So-So. This isn't a bad book, it's just not that great. I'm debating whether to continue the series. I prefer Clancy, or WEB Griffin. I read this in iBooks and there were a lot of typos and misspellings.

Great story!. This is the book that got me started on Vince Flynn (rest his soul). From this book to the last one he published before his death kept me wanting more and was amazed on how realistic his writing was. I hope they decide to publish his last one. Thanks Vince!
