Disappointing. Rule seems to have done a lot of work & research on this book I wish that I could give it a better rating, but it didn’t seem objective to me. I had never heard of any of the people featured in this book, so I have no previous knowledge or opinion; Howe, to me, the book seemed weighted against Lisa.

Heart full of lies. I've read several of Ann rule's books. I find her works well researched and complete but this is by far the most spellbinding of all! I was completely enthralled! I think this is a must read for those in the field of behavior, whether they be in the psychiatric or law enforcement field.

Another great book. Ann Rule is a fantastic author. She does her homework and you feel you get pretty close to all sides of the story. She always gives credit where credit is due. One of the best authors on my list.

Excellent read. Ann Rule is unequalled in this genre. This story may be one of her best. Incredible true story, better than fiction! You can’t make this stuff up.

Heart Full of Lies. As usual the author drew me into the story with her thorough descriptions of all the characters, twists, turns, and surprises throughout the story

Heart Full of Lies. Why would anyone, especially miss Rule write such a terrible story about this sick women, she ruined so many lives. Then this sick women gets a light sentence after murdering her husband which makes a terrible ending. A horrible disgusting story. The whole thing needs to be never again be brought up. I know it’s a true story, my point is some stories should never be written. JW

Good. Overall, this book , if nothing else was interesting. To hear a woman so manipulative and deceitful when there are others who are truly suffering at the hands of another is frustrating… to the point where it can be triggering, or annoying at times. The book is repetitive- I had to skip through some pages because I had read the same thing, about the same character at least three times prior. The book probably could’ve been at least 50 pages shorter without all the added repeat info. But, overall it was a tragic story and worth the read.
