Play Dead. This could be the worst book I've read in years.....and I really like Coben. His "warning" at the start was backwards. Fans of his shouldn't read this book because they might not buy another. I will because he's improved greatly since this amateurish, 20 year old book. I guess he just needed the money to release this now. A really, really bad book.

He's right. This book is.... Not the best...it reads like a romance novel. I really like Coben - this isn't typical. Find another book.

Loved it. Have read 3 of Cobens books so far and this is by far my favorite.

Worth the wait!. I early purchased the book after reading the sample copy. I had to wait for a month till it was released Awesome story. A little stretch of the imagination on one or two points of the story (plastic surgery). But other than that I can feel Laura's pain and constant suspenseful drama that hits her at every direction at the same time! This is my first book from this author. Thanks for this great read. I can't wait to see it in the movies! Paul

Play Dead. Very confusing at times.

Simplistic. to the point of being insulting. Poor grammar and a tired theme beat to death and then dragged through every repetitious redundancy of story telling that exists, is what this book delivers. Anyone with half a brain would figure out the obvious perpetrator and next the actual murderer. It was torturous to actually finish this book. You just want it to be over. Don't waste your time or money is my recommendation.

Play Dead. I love the Myron Bolitar series but the person who read this book was awful. The voices were terrible and not true to the characters personalities at all. I should have read this rather than purchasing it in audio form.

Play Dead. In the introduction, Coben says this is his very first novel which had not been published until recently - couldn't tell it by me, it was excellent as are all his stories. It did drag in places, but his unique style was evident even back then, like when there were no cells phones...LOL. Worth every penny. ALL HAIL HARLAN!

Not his best.... To be honest Harlen Coben warns you not to read this book...it's too difficult to believe.

Play Dead. Harlan has a mind for suspense. I've read ALL of his books. Don't pay attention to other reviewers that didn't like this book Just ask them to read their books. Harlan is talented. I wish my first book would be this good.

PLAY DEAD. So glad they put Harlan Coben's first book out again. This was his very first book to be published - I have read them all & he is as brilliant today as he was 20 years ago!! Thank You for your wonderful books that do keep you up all night - just can't put them down!! As always Harlan Coben is spectacular!!

PLAY DEAD. Excellent! Even though it's one of Coben's earlier works, it's up there with the BEST he has written. I loved this book and couldn't put it down till I was finished. Even if your not a fan of all of his work, you will ENJOY this book. Better put some time away cause once you start this book you will not put it down until your finished. Coben is right!. If you haven't read Coben before, find one of his other books. His writing improves so much with each book.

Play dead. What a waste of a download, probably the worst book I have ever read. Had to finish it cos I'd paid for it! Trashy and badly written. Not sure what happened here because his others books are good. Don't waste your money

Rather implausible. It was a good read, but the plot was rather implausible.
