Hmm. I agree that Keep It Simple Stupid works well I'm almost any situation. However I think is is over reaching to say, "Never eat bread, or sugar, or drink soda" I am not a doctor or medically trained in any way. I made up my mind one day to change my life. I did eat smaller meals more frequently and started getting exercise regularly. I did limit my intake of junk but allowed it in moderation. Made sure to drink lots of water...And guess what in one year 106 lbs were gone. I didn't spend a hour everyday walking or join a gym. I am poor and can't afford free range anything. Cant even always afford fresh fruit and veggies. Maybe I should write a book called "the way to lose weight and keep it off without being a health nut and hating what you eat."

This book WILL help you!. I've lost 95 lbs before I ever picked up this book. There are several things we should all know about our bodies, our food and life in general that are laid out in this book to help us with our day to day life. Just read it. It is an easy read that will improve your quality of life. My motto through my whole weight loss process is "Stop making excuses and start making moves." Just do it. Be easy on yourself at first and you can lead a happier healthier life.

If you don't know this by now.... Average summary of stuff people should already know, if they're not burying their heads in the sand. Not very up to date with the latest thinking. In line with conventional wisdom, which is pretty far behind the eight ball. I recommend a visit to 'marks daily apple' for anyone interested in more cutting edge and effective thinking.

Huh?. From the start "Dr." Dave insists his book will help you attract the "opposite" sex. GLBT readers, move on...and it doesn't get much better. There was a thin vein of common sense with eating right, but DD goes into an overdrive w/ his own personalized theories. Didn't work for us.

Free is what it's worth. This book sucked. He uses too many words to say EVERYTHING! Droned on and on after he made his point over and over in every chapter. Made good points, offered practical advice and supported his position but made it tedious to read. I will not attempt to read anything by the author again. I am certain he has no clue what the word 'edit' means.

Great. I read the the whole book one week ago and followed everything word for word in one week I lost 5lbs of pure body fat and feel so energized through out the day that i make it a priority to workout first thing in the morning you will feel like you never felt before

Impress the World With Your Body. Whenever I see a person going out of their way to use the word "Doctor" in their title when authoring a health related book, I often raise an eyebrow. Sure enough this book is a case in point. The guy's a Dentist, writing authoritatively on topics such as insulin response-stimuli, and mercury biochemistry. Much of the information in this book is without scientific merit or support, and it is irresponsible to make such claims. Maybe he should stick to doing fillings (wait, don't they have MERCURY IN THEM?!?)

Free is too much to charge for this. A better format for this corny malarky would be a long winded email. He takes a quarter hearted stab at being Tony Robins (sp?), and you have to wade through a bunch of self aggrandizement to get to common sense. He starts with the premise that he has a great body, but it's so average! Don't waste your zero dollars.

Dr. Meadow. I met Dr. Madow at a dental convention in Las Vegas in 2005 an 2008. He is an outstanding dentist, but as far as for health an fitness? Its all common sense. This book was $20.00 that I could have paid towards a personal trainer and got some real advice that I didn't already know.I was a sucker an bought the book. $20.00 in his pocket. I could write a book on how to put tooth paste on your tooth brush an make money.

This book was fantastic, helpful & best of all… FREE. I read all the book from cover to cover in about a couple of hours. I honestly think I agree with everything the good Doctor says and although I was doing each of the things in some small way; I was lacking the structure and life-time experience of someone who has been there, done it and got the tee shirt. So why recreate the wheel. I think I will be able to follow 50% of this book quite easily, the other 50% I'll have to really work on… but at least now I have a plan. Thanks once again Doc (",)

Terrible general advice. This is useful only if you lack basic common sense. Some of the sweeping generalisations in this book are not only wrong but frankly dangerous too. This man is not an expert and this is merely a book riddled with "broscience".

Not bad!. I finished reading this book 2weeks ago and ive started walkin 2miles around the local park as well as drinking water and eating less junk food! Ive also gave up alochol and in the process of quitting smoking... Basically, if i didnt read this book none of this would have happened, it truely is a book to read especailly when its free.. Great motivator. No-nonsense, motivational tips which should help you make the first moves towards getting yourself in shape. Much of it is common sense, but the author has a great way of putting it across in such a way that you want to do something about it. It doesn't aim to be comprehensive, but succeeds in providing just enough information to push you off the starting line.

7 days ?. This book is useful only to people who buy into happy go lucky American tripe! Highly unrealistic but contains some good feel good messages that may be of use to some. It's very American and a little misleading in the title.

Sound advice!. This is a short, easy to read book with valuable advice, written in a very motivating way. Sticking to the advice may be tough, but I'm giving it a go!

Except change. So true and works except the change could be the difference in seeing your kids succeed or you being dead i lost 28 kilos in 7 Weeks I walked five miles a day go that extra further u done it now it time to punish ur inner demons

Life changing. After reading this book I began drinking more water and cycling for half an hour everyday ( I already eat rather healthily and walk around all day for my job ) in the three weeks since I started I've lost 8 kgs yes 8! I feel great my waist line is looking better all the time and I find I've got loads more energy. The weight training, sleep habits and stretching well I hope to include those this week. No excuses, yes I do shift work, irregular shifts at that ( nights, days and late afternoons all in the same fortnight ) but hey David is right watch out people here I come.

Near the pinnacle of mediocrity. The author repeatedly displays either little or no evidence based knowledge of what he is writing about. The few sound suggestions in the book are commonly available and could be relayed in one or two pages rather than the the interminable and self aggrandizing essay that is this "book". The rest is unmitigated, uninformed drivel. His book perpetuates misinformation, and does it while implying that he knows what he is talking about. To paraphrase, he is so small of mind that, if he fell on a pin, he would blind himself in both eyes at the same time.

Useless. First the author offers anecdotal advice, meaning that his advice is based on experiential knowledge that does not apply to the general population. Second, scientific sources of the information are not apparent. Essentially, his information is not verifiable. Third, his logical reasoning is flawed. Just because his plan worked for him doesn't mean it will translate well for others. Fourth, logical reasoning is circular and repetitive. Meaning that the entire logic presented in this book can be reduced into a page or two of the circular reasoning was removed. Fifth, the author tries to use his position of authority and expertise and education bring credibility however we have remember that he is not an expert in the field which he writes for. Is short, this book is not worth the effort. Its better if you get a gym membership to Planet Fitness and put in your 3 days a week and/or download lose it.
