Excellent. Mary Higgins Clark Does it again! An excellent read with lots of suspense, thankfully minus cursing and sex. A very enjoyable suspense novel.

Some elements are well known to H-Clark readers. She always paints one person as the killer, and you know right from the start they won't be the killer. But the charectors are well-drawn and relatable and, as always, a quick and suspenseful read.

Fast paced & requires no thought. I always buy her books knowing I will get a fast paced, one sitting read. I always like her heroine and never feel smarter for having read the books, but they are light hearted, super fast to read and overall enjoyable. I do get so sick of seeing the word "hassock" in EVERY single book!! Can we just agree to call it an ottoman for the love of all thats holy!? Or better yet, let's not mention the foot rest or kneeling pillow in every book.... Other than that I am a loyal fan, own every book and enjoy the lack of emotion needed to breeze through them. Keep em' coming.

A gripping thriller. Another great thriller in which Clark deals with the issue of kidnapping! I really liked the protagonist in this one! The climax was a real stunner! And the culprit was truly quite a surprise! I never expected that person to be responsible for all of the trouble! Excellent reading from this master of romantic suspense!

Great surprise. While I have read a few books from this author they all seemed to repeat themselves after a while. Not that I don't enjoy them, I really do but it just wasn't that surprising any more. This book reminded me why I enjoy her books so much. While I thought I had it all figured out, she dropped the bomb on me. Great job and thank you for entertaining me so thoroughly.

Grat story. I couldn't read this book fast enough & I never guessed the ending. As always she grabs you on the first page & carries you all the way to the end.

Mary Higgins Clark Doesn't Disappoint!. I thoroughly enjoyed this. As with many previous MHC books, I couldn't put this down. I liked the twist just when I thought I had figured it all out!

Awesome. I'm never let down by the amazing writings of this author. I was hooked immediately after reading "Pretend You Don"t SeeHer".

Loved it!. I've been away from the pleasure reading arena for a while due to school obligations but I must say I really enjoyed this page-turner. The characters were well developed and the storyline kept me in stitches. MHC had me so filled with anxiety that I was thinking about taking a Benadryl to fall asleep. I just could not put the book down. When I did fall asleep I found myself dreaming about the plot. She really blew me out the water with this book and she did it without the grotesque violence that is all to present in some of the other books I've read.

The slow but amazing book!. This book was AMAZING!!! I really loved it. I could not put it down. I was even getting mad at the detectives because they were being so stupid!! You will have a lot of emotions through this. To me this is one of her books that is a MUST read! (Piece of Information)~Everyone started turning on Zan and changing there stories, just imagine how you would have felt. Well, thats it!

Ugh. This book was awful. I couldn’t get through the first few chapters. The writing was bad and the characters were cartoonish in personality. Too bad, I usually love her books. Waste of time and money!

Surprise Ending. As the story unfolds, it leads the reader to believe you have it all figured out. What a surprise to find out you weren't even close!

Outstanding Choice. This book is incredibly hard to put down, from beginning to end you are left in your own world of the book feeling like your watching it all happen in front of your own eyes. You sense the emotion of what every character is going through wanting to find out what happens. I strongly advise for anyone to read this who has a real like for mysteries.

I'll Walk Alone. The development of personalities and minute details make you feel you are a part of the mystery. You are in suspence until the last few pages, and even then the heart keeps pumping fast. Every question and loose end is quickly attended and you feel a sense of relief ... and yet a letdown when you realize the book is over. Now I must find Clark's next great adventure!

I'll Walk Alone. I've read so many Mary Higgins Clark books and felt this one was ok but for some reason the story and the way it's told does not "sound" like her - almost as if she wrote some chapters and somebody else took over the writing in areas. The premise of the story and some of the many incidental characters also don't help. Will definitely keep reading her books and look forward to the next.

It's only ok. This is the first book that I've read by this author and I really don't understand the fuss about her. I found the story line good, but her writing style is just to long winded. People don't really talk and think like that. I would not recommend this book.

Definite page turner. I've read all of Mary Higgins Clark's books and as a result can usually predict the ending. Not this time! I was completely surprised by who done it! Which is why I love mystery books. She is the greatest mystery writer, couldn't put it down, especially toward the end.
