Good Book. Though this book had many editing errors, it was well done and engaging. The characters had good depth of personality and the story took lots of interesting turns; some quite unexpected. On the whole, if you can look past the editing errors, this is a very good story.

A bit Twilight-ish, but Very Entertaining. Scent of Danger was formerly titled Something Wild. Yet again, I've read a book right out of the middle of a series. I've got to be more careful. Luckily, this one does a really good job of being a stand-alone if you haven't read the previous ones. The author does a wonderful job of introducing knowledge from previous books in the series without making the reader feel out of the loop. If I hadn't been enjoying it so much and Googled author Autumn Dawn, I might have never found out. Lucky for me I did, so I can read all the rest. The book focuses on dark, brooding Mathin and disenchanted, practical Andrea. She is human and he is, well, not. The characters and their world are brought to life through Andrea's interaction with new and strange people with alien customs and chemistry. The querulous relationship she forms with Mathin is a bit Twilight-ish, but Twilight fans will enjoy it immensely and it doesn't detract from the story. However, many a scene is stolen by the Stag. I think a whole book could be devoted to this funny, obstinate creature. You'll have to read Scent of Danger to see why.

Eh.... I didn't hate it. The author broke off into many different side stories though that seemed to detract from the main story line. The end was lacking, like she didn't know how to wrap it up. I suppose it was worth the free download if you need something to pass the time, but I won't be looking for more from this author.

Scent of Danger. This was the 1st book of Autumn Dawn's series that I downloaded and boy was I glad that I did. It was written so that it could stand alone but I definitely wanted more. Spent all day reading, just could not put it down

Scent of Damger. This book was so good. It was just too short. I really wanted to know more about Leo and Scy, as well as the baby and the characters from the previous book. I wish it had been longer and had a little more character depth on the secondary characters.

Def a page turner!!. It was an amazing book!!! Such a good plot with a good mixture of different genres all in to one. The characters are well developed. Will read the whole series!!

Rating PG13. It's kinda inappropriate there should be a warning it has moments. But other than that great book, great author.

Good Read. I love the Dark Lands world. This was an easy read and it was nice to see more of the other characters' lives. However there are many typos and a note the the author; oriental is not a nationality/race (Asian is). Oriental is inanimate objects. I was a little offended as it is my pet peeve to be called "oriental" as I am not a rug or china.

Enjoyable. Good read. Mathin the mad conjured up delicious visions. However a little disappointed with the ending.

Simply divine. My first time reading a fantasy/romance genre and I absolutely love it! This is such engaging book. I read it twice!

Wonderful. I've started reading this series completely out o order, starting here. It was easy to pick up, hard to put down, the world is wonderfully described.

Romance rather than fantasy. For a free book, this was a decent read. Well written, good description and characterisation, this book is engaging from the outset. I became a bit bored during the middle, however, when the plot mostly focused on the over the top sexual tension between the two protagonists. The fantasy element wasn't strong and I didn't get the sense of a new and distinct world. Overall well written, but far too much focus on the romantic element for my personal liking. Having said that, this is genuinely one of the better free eBooks out there.

Love It!. This would make a great Movie..

Wow.. There really isn't much else to say. The characters were interestingly developed, the setting was beautiful, and the plot was astounding. This was definitely a profound and lucky find I downloaded. I recommend this novel for anyone looking for romances.
