love love love!. so this series is my absolute favorite! i'm so glad the first is book is free now, not i have an excuse to reread it!!!

Good chemistry. Loved it, couldn't put it down! Really liked the chemistry between the characters, especially maddie and ramirez. Read the whole series because of it.

Amazing. This book had me up all night...literally could not put it down read it in about 5 hours...can't wait to purchase the other books in the series!!!

What a fun book!. I loved this book - funny, fast paced, well written and easy to read. When I read a book I want to be entertained and this book definitely filled that requirement. No grammar or spelling problems like in some books-just pure entertainment. I definitely recommend this book/author and look forward to reading more books by her.

Typo. You have a typo in the summary. I'm not sure I want to read this when you do not take time to proof read the summary.

Mediocrity would be a higher bar to pass. Kudos to Ms. Halliday for creating a book without research, proof reading or resolutions to obvious plot questions, and yet downloaded so many times! If only all lack of work was so richly rewarded. At least I didn't pay for it.

Fun read. Light, fun story. There were a few typos, but nothing bad enough to detract from the story.(Sorry, I've read several ebooks lately that were ruined by errors that should have been caught by proofreaders.)

3 stars. The story line was fun, but there was so much talk about calories and peoples bodies it was distracting and unnecessary.

Overall pretty good. Downloaded it because it was free. Was pleasantly surprised that it was an interesting, quick read. The English teacher side of me cringed slightly at the number of typos and grammatical errors, but they're not overwhelming. If Apple needs a part time editor, let me know! Haha. I'd recommend this to a friend.

Fast Food Junkie. Humorous, good story line. I chuckled each time the heroine stopped for fast food in the midst of danger, and always had a good excuse for the calories she consumed. She must have a great metabolism.

High Heels Series. Started with the free download and have continued on with the series! Book 4 now and can't put it down!w1

Perfect combo. This book is super cute and a great read. It isn't predictable and has a lot of humor, wrapped with suspense. Worth reading and continuing the story, currently on book 6!

Best Book Ever!!!. I absolutely loved this book! I loved how witty Maddie was and how much this book felt like a rom-com. I also really like the bits of suspense in there too! Really kept me wanting to read more! I can’t wait for the new book to come out and I would totally recommend this book! It’s my new favorite!!!

Spying in High Heels. Loved the entire series! Found it entertaining and I don't agree with it being a rip off of Stepanie Plum. I love the Stephanie Plum series as well. Have read all of Gemma's books and have not been disappointed!

2" in to details. FYI, 2 inch heels aren't that impressive, sweetie. And repeating it over and over doesn't make them seem any cooler.

Fun read. This was a light fun read. I'm reminded of Janet Evanovich's books one bumbling caper after another. Would highly recommend.

Racist & fat shaming. Good character development, but my title says it all.

Woah!. I never read books EVER! But when i found this one i had to download it because i want to be a spy and after the first sentance i couldnt put it down and stayed up all night reading! The whole thing is a cliff hanger with so many problems mixed in it this book could never get you boerd!

Annoying. I generally didn't mind the story and some characters were fine but the main one, Maddie, drove me nuts. I don't want to give anything away but the diet coke scene, are you kidding me? She was too neurotic and bizarre for me. Almost stopped reading twice but I didn't have a next book ready so I skimmed through to get to the end. Menh.

Hilarious and entertaining. A fun and engaging storyline and hilarious! Great characters and an easy read.. perfect for after work relaxation or vacation mode.

Love this book!. I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It’s a great cozy mystery with lots of laughs. If you enjoy cozy mysteries and/or rom-coms you will definitely like this. The only thing I would change is that I would make it “cleaner,” but it’s not like there are a bunch of sex scenes or anything, but Maddie doesn’t need to reference sex so much. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

Awesome and hilarious!. This book was one of the best, most enjoyable reads I've had in a long time! I went on to read everything else in the series and highly recommend it.

Stereotypes and fat shaming and shoes galore!. Oh boy. Where do I begin. With the author's caricature of the protagonist, a stereotypical blond who likes shoes and giggles and best I can tell is horrible at her job and seriously interfering with criminal investigations? Or with the cop who somehow finds her simpering manic pixie dumb girl act attractive and breaks a whole bunch of laws by never arresting her for obstruction of justice? Or with the bizarre fat-shaming the author does (even being sure to mention two different characters exact weights and using the word "waddle")? This book is REAL BAD, y'all.

Totally enjoyed every minute!. Definitely worth reading, easy to connect to characters and is very entertaining. Found myself giggling quite often, overall very enjoyable and Ramirez sounds hot lol :) Would be great if Gemme released more great free reads!

Becky Bloomwood with a twist!. This story was honestly like Becky from Confessions of a Shopaholic book series mixed with a more adventure styled theme! It honestly was the best book series out there and if I were to ever see it in the form of a paper back I would buy it! HAD TROUBLE PUTTING IT DOWN, LOVED EVERY WORD AND COULDN'T HELP LOVE THE CHARACTERS!!!

Not for me. Was there paid product placement in this book? It certainly feels like it! Frantically name dropping brands, products, restaurants and fads does not equal character development (or even description!). This felt lazy, by-the-dots and done before.

Horrible. I only downloaded this because it happened to be free. I dredged through this during those times that I had nothing else to do. It is an unbelievably poorly written book. Who was the editor assigned to this? How could this have merited an entire series of books to follow?
