Speechless. It's just simply beautiful..

Didn't enjoy it as much as her other books. This is the 4th book I've read by this author and it was my least favorite. I felt like the book dragged on in certain parts and was a little repetitive. I didn't find myself rooting for the characters and wasn't fond of Ellie at all. I enjoyed the first half more than the second - it's always fun to learn about a different time period. Overall not a great read, but not awful either.

Great read. Loved this book, it really moved me. Heartbreaking at times but but it all worked out to the most wonderful ending. The shifts in decades were a little confusing at first but I had a hard time putting it down. You won't regret reading this.

The Last Letter From Your Lover. I couldn't put this book down. What a wonderful, old fashioned love story! And I haven't cried at the ending of a book in a very, very long time.

The more your read. The more you want.. Jennifer’s story started out to me a bit slower but once I was piecing the characters together I really started to love what I read. The love Jennifer has with her lover is romantic and rare. It has inspired me to consider how I write my wedding vows to my husband.

Feels strangely timeless. Such an amazing book. Even though the circumstances are not ideal, the feeling of love still warmed my heart. I wanted nothing but happiness for the main characters.

Heartwarming and heartbreaking. Man do I love Jojo Moyes. I’m such a sucker for true love. It took until about 1/4 of the way through this one to get hooked but then I HAD to know what happened. I so desperately wanted Jennifer and Anthony to get there HEA. I never guessed what was going to happen in this book which I absolutely loved. Again Moyes makes me a sappy romantic and a believer in true love. I suggest this book if you need something lovely but also a little mystery in your life.

Wonderful story, I loved it.. I loved crying through this story….I was so pulled into this story. All my emotions were used during the reading of this book. Loved it.

Love is not lost. This book is a reminder that love is not lost and can outlast anything. From the first page to the last I was caught in a whirlwind of emotion. The unexpected twists of this story kept it fresh and interesting. It was very well written and I hope to read more from the author. I would definitely recommend this book.

Completely Pulled Me In. This novel is mostly written in the past, during a time when women were expected to keep the house and let the man be the head of it. On the outside, it looks as if Jennifer has the perfect life. She’s married to a wealthy man and has a beautiful house. She keeps up appearances, but what she really wants is to feel loved and share closeness with a man. She’s growing tired of material things. Warning, there are several cases of cheating and affairs from several of the characters. This is a tale of missed opportunities, circumstance, love letters and serendipity.

The Last Letter From Your Lover. At 9:am I picked up my new book I did not put it down till 8:45 pm Tonight. I was lost in a time long gone with people I came to know and to like. This is a love story that one would only hope to have if only for a short time. That you come away with the short time you have with someone so dear to you is worth the hurt . A must read !! I did love it and did enjoy my time and for a short time I was that girl !

Really liked it!. Good story. I liked the way it had two different time periods and stories that came together. Definitely recommend this book.

Love letters. Wonderful story. Didn’t want it to end!

Predictable and Boring. This book could not hold my interest nor did I have the patience to stick it out. The book starts off with interest but soon becomes trite and unrealistic, almost forced. Very predictable: Beautiful, rich, well-kept woman has a boring life, doesn't love her mean spirited husband and takes on a lover. And to be honest, for an apparently, start-crossed lover, Jennifer doesn't put much effort into finding her lost love ... won't reveal more than this as I don't want to spoil this for someone who might like the story. This author has written some exceptional books, but this is not one of them. I find it amazing that the book got so many 5-star reviews. I think the key, perhaps, is reading Ms Moyes newer works in which her writing has seasoned and become flawless.

Thoroughly enjoyed it!!!. I loved this story!! The characters, the passion, the tragic turns... Loved it. Sad when I hit to the last page.

Surprisingly great book!. I loved this story, the characters, the setting, everything. This was one of those stories I actually missed having these characters in my life when the book was finished. I almost didn't continue the book as I had recently read "What Alice Forgot" and thought itnwouod be the same story, but it was not. Absolutely reccomend this book.

The Last Letter From Your Lover. Get ready for an interesting ride. At first it was a bit confusing but then it came into its own and was delightful!

Hooked me imnediateky. Came across this book and started reading the sample, and I was hooked. I bought it, and read the book immediately. Well written, with characters who feel real/multidimensional. The superficiality of a 1960s decorative housewife reminds me of 2021 social media “perfection”, and had me rooting for Jennifer to break free and be her real self.

Absolutle lovely story. What a lovely enchanting story told from past to present. I loved the romanticism in the letters and the mystery until the very end. It is a very engaging story...a nice escape into true love and a wonderful read.

Love, love, love!!!. I love this story!!! I never write reviews, but this author is amazing.

Slow start but strong finish. It took a while for the story to pick up steam and really hook me but it was worth it. The back and forth timeline formJennifer’s story in 1960 was a little disjointed at first but it made the conclusion better. I enjoyed the characters in both parts of the story. In the end a feel good read.

Better than the movie (duh). Watched the recent Netflix movie and appreciated it. So naturally I had to read the movie. So happy I did. So much better. So many great beautiful romantic scenes. Gave me Voyager (Outlander) vibes. Such a beautiful beautiful story!

Good book, but not as great as I had anticipated.. Did not find this as gripping as other books I have read by the same author.
