Book. This really helped me reflect

Inspirational. All the haters out there probably just read the cover and not the actual book. It's an amazing book. I wish everyone could see how the authors want it to be seen. This book contains material everyone should take to heart. I hope to be a National Merit Finalist someday and this book gives me hope!

Great. It's a great book, well written for teens to understand not too long not too short 👍

Most boring life changing book ever. I go to an academically accelerated high school in Michigan. When I’d applied to the school I had no idea what type of school it was, only that they only admit 30 students in each grade in the entire state. Like many others who applied, I realized that going to the school would put me in contacts with who I needed to make my life much easier. Two months later after hours of ruthless testing and interviewing I received the letter that I still have framed in my bedroom. Unfortunately to my 14 year old self there was also a list of required reading in that admission packet. This book was on it. I can honestly say I breezed past the entire book my freshman year. But whenever someone in my class was less than successful my professors would refer back to the book. I got to reading the book, and realized that a lot of those topics covered applied to me. I can honestly without out that book I would not of graduated as valedictorian, heading to Harvard and on this path of life.

Appropriate. I am a parent of a 13 years old teenager and each and every page fits into what son is going through.

Really inspiring. I would recommend this for everybody not just teens.

this book is alright. wow this book is ok i guess its alright students

Thanks. This book is so awesome! If your planning to do something with your life and not just sit there and get c averages in school, you should read this book it helps you think differently. So. If you want to be the next steve jobs read this! : )

A necessary read for teens, parents, and teachers!. As a high school teacher, I decided to read this book to use as a tool to help some of my wonderful, smart, lazy students. This is not only something I am going to recommend for teens and parents, I will be sharing this with my AVID team and school administration as well. Fantastic!,!

Boring!. I'm only 11, but decided to download this book anyways. It's boring, and I would like to point out a two very strange things the author said. 1. He said that most teens these days don't have goals and get bad grades. I would like to say that the middle school I'm going to has really smart kids, and last year, there were 32 kids in honors square math, and that lots of the teens going to the high school have a lot of goals! I don't know if the author actually did some study on this (which I doubt) or just presumed that most teens don't get good grades and don't have goals. Either way, if you start a book about getting goals saying that the majority of the population of people your age don't have any, well, that makes the reader think that what's the point in getting them if the majority don't have any? 2. He said that when he was 19 that he was headed to the worst type of life but then when he was 20 he graduated top of his class and got excellent grades. How did he do that that fast? I mean, in real life, you can't suddenly become super smart in a matter of weeks. Learning is built on other learning that if you don't have will make it impossible to learn other things. You can't learn everything that you missed out on when you are 19! You can do that in Elementary school, middle school, maybe even the firsT year of high school, but when you are 19 and you began to miss out on stuff starting at 5th grade, you are trying to make up for 9years of missing out. Now how do you do that in 12 months? The book probably held some very interesting lessons, I'm sure, but the author made it really boring, it's more boring than reading War and Peace!* If I find it so boring, what would a 14 year old who could be chatting with her best friends right now instead of reading the book think? *Note that I didn't read anymore than 5 pages, so my commentary may be untrue at some points.

Samaiyah. I love it I am 16

Teen for success. It's an great book loved the whole story of different kids about there lives... An gives you lots of ideas for life. Great book!

Reading A Book. I have to read a book about success for teens. :-)

Amazing!!!!!. This book is absolutely amazing. I am very surprised of this books outcome. It does not only teach you how to be successful in life but how to deal with everything in life from day to day basis. It is a guide I think everyone should read. It teaches different aspects of how to be successful and I would recommend this book to anyone.

Haven't read it. Yeah

Incredible read. This book is not at all about following anyone and being a sheep. This book is about setting your own goals creating a vision for your life and following simple disciplines every single day to help you achieve your goals! Absolutely amazing for teens!

Example of how controlling our society is. They have a plan for all of us, and they want all of us to follow the same path like a flock of sheep. No thinking outside the box.

Never read it. I hope this book is good the title sounds good

It's okay so far I guess. I have to read this be the end of summer for my peer leading group for the start of 8th grade. I mean it's not like your average teen book but honestly some if the things that it says are really good.

Amazing book!!. This is such an amazing book!! It has so much information on how to reflect your life. I bought it a couple months ago b/c it was free and I started reading it 1/2 hour ago and it opened my eyes to what I need to change about my life!! Get this bookies amazing !!(:

Boring. I almost fell asleep after reading like 8 pages it talks about all these wrong things and in general this book just sucked ( sorry to be so mean but it’s true)

Okay. Okay book

Excellent!. If there is a formula for success that has been tested by time and yet prevails - and someone was kind enough to share it in a manner that we can understand and benefit from while we are still young - why would we shun it? "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings so that you shall come easily by what others have labored hard for." ~Socrates

Serously?. I can't believe people are trying to sell this junk. I mean seriously.... It's a guide designed by adults who want hardworking robots.

Fantastic Book So simple yet so powerful. Just finished reading it. Even though I read the slight edge, reading "Slight Edge for Teens" gave a very different perspective. Definitely a must read for all ages. Thanks for providing this book at no cost.

Ehhh. Its honestly not what I was excepting and I was really disappointed I’m really into self care and self motivation right now but this did not really help me. It confused me more than anything

It is pretty good title. It is a really good book and it is very helpful in the real life it will help me grow me and be successful in life when I am older. I love this book and to everyone wanting to read a book about the real life then you should read this book. 💛💛

Motivating & Inspirational :). I really enjoyed this book! I've been going through some drastic changes since I've graduated from high school & entered college as a freshman and this book really just motivated me! The advice it gave was great and I give it 5 stars!

The true message is at the heart of the book. What are you passionate about? What amazing plans do you have for your future? How will you make this happen? As you read this book, keep those questions in mind. By applying the slight edge principles to your life every day you will be amazed as you see your big dreams become a reality. So many young folks are on fire to make a difference in this world, I like the fact that there are books like this available to help them accomplish their dreams.

Be the change. A book with a simple idea: the little things you do matter. For example, writing reviews about books you haven't read or fully understand is evidence that your life's philosophies will lead you down the road to failure. If you are seriously interested in making your life successful, this book will help without a doubt.

I loved this book!. At first, I was very harsh on this book. I assumed it was just an unrealistic form of motivation. I was very wrong, and I'm happy that I didn't let my assumptions take over to the point where I would have stopped reading it! It offers very clear advice, on things that often trouble teenagers. It shows that all teens go through these difficult phases. It directs on how to get through stressful situations. It will certainly improve my life, and I hope it will continue to improve the lives of others. And even though the saying it extremely cliche and worn to death, it states that dreams really can come true ; but only through dedication, momentum, and hard work. 😄😆😇😺🙉👍💛

WORST book ever.. Obviously if you like this book you're an adult, not a teen. Hands-down the most conforming book I have ever read. Basically the entire thing is trying to make teens into someday "productive citizens". LAME. If you want to keep any ounce of self-individuality, don't get the book.

Awesome. A must read for all young adults!

OMG. It is the best book ever
