She does it again. Roberts is so very skilled at pulling you into the lives of her characters making them all seem so real and this book is no exception! The expertly and vivid way she paints a picture with every written word from beginning to end is why Nora Roberts is my all-time favorite author! I can't wait to purchase yet another masterpiece!

A great read. I am in awe of Nora’s writing. She puts so much research into her books. The knowledge and dynamics of fighting wildfires, the character development. I feel as if I am right there, grabbing hose and fighting along side with them. Too many people comment about Nora Roberts books being unoriginal, with typical story line. Just because her books end up with a happy ending, there is nothing typical about her storylines. No one can write such a beautiful romance in a well played suspenseful story. This is a great read!

Love. It was a fun read. I loved the personality of characters. Being a wildland firefighter myself, i found this story line to be somewhat an adrenaline trigger.

Amber. This book has everything...murder, suspense, action and romance. I love how Roberts has the ability to make her characters seem so real they feel like friends. It took me less than two days to read because I couldn't put it down! And I think that this would be an amazing story for the big screen! Definitely worth the extra money I paid and I would read anything with Nora Roberts name on it!!!

Another fun good read by Nora Roberts. Nora Roberts excels at creating characters you connect and care about. This was another fun race through a world I knew nothing about. Loved Lucas and Ella's storyline.

A New Experience. I have read dozens of Nora Roberts books and I've loved everyone of them! Chasing Fire was a very interesting book for me because not only did it have the romance that I love but there was also the intrigue and the mystery but especially the detail about what firefighters go through on a daily basis. It gives you a true down to the roots appreciation for what these folks do. A great book! Loved it.

Exceptional. I’ve been a NR fan for years. She was the first “grown up” author my mom allowed me to read as a young teen and my love for her storytelling has only grown from there. Whenever I go through a rough patch in life, and I just need an escape, I’ll pick up one of her vast collection and fall into one of her worlds. It’s like hanging out with an old friend. I had not read this book before and it is seriously one of her best. The characters are engaging and lovable, the suspense is palpable, and the world is expertly crafted. Nora Roberts is an author that takes the time to research what she is writing about and always honors the profession or lifestyle she chooses to place her characters in. Read this book. It will not disappoint.

WOW!!!!. 'WOW' was the first word that came to me after reading the last sentence. I thought 'Montana' was her best book - but I've just changed my opinion! Stayed up to 4:00 this morning glued to the book! Thanks!

Chasing Fire. Nora is the queen of romance novels for a reason. She's the best with imagery. Period. Chasing Fire is a testament to that. Even though I had the killer figured out early on, the book still rocked. Not sure why there are so many negative comments about this one. It is head and shoulders above Tribute and much better than The Search. Another winning standalone!

Chasing Fire. Loved it. It kept my interest all the way through, especially learning all about fire fighting. The mystery was well played out with intrigue. The romance was down to earth, very meaningful, supportive and caring.
