Phenomenal Read. The book was phenomenal and I couldn't put it down!!!! A MUST read!!!

Slowly quickens. The book begins slowly and continues on so for about half the book. Then things begin to fall into place and the story begins to become more interesting with an exciting finish.

Amazing. This book was well written, drama and mystery that will keep you wanting to know more. I could not put it down. I can't wait to read the last of the trilogy.

Must read. I throughly have enjoyed the 3 book series. I am reading them again in order to prepare for the 4th book. I don't mind reading them again at all. These books are the most exciting read I've ever had.

Suspenseful and thrilling. An exciting, fast-paced sequel to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. This book delves more into Lisbeth's past and sheds light on what happened to her and why she is the way she is. Highly recommended.

Marathon read. Loving the whole series. You escape to another place and process emotions by relating. And you learn about and are reminded of life in other countries. It’s fiction but reads with reality.

Great book!. I wasn't sure about reading the first book- Girl With the Dragon Tattoo- but it was the only book I had available to take on the cruise for backup if I finished my other e-book. It was a little slow getting started but captured me without even realizing the hook had been set. Had a hard time putting it down and couldn't wait to start on "Played With Fire." There was no lengthy build up to start this book. No Sirreee!! Read book two in half the time. Start to finish, full of suspense and little plot twists. I'm about to download the third book to see how it all plays out, as three is actually a continuation and conclusion of two. The first book stands alone but goes a long way to establishing characters and relationships that make the other two books more enjoyable. GREAT READ!!

Denoument Needed. Am I spelling that right? I haven’t said it since 7th grade. I would love to read what happened to all the other bad guys. This was revenge porn without the cumshaw.

Dr. You just can't help but to grow to love Salander. She is so smart, so engaging and so mysterious at the same time. I root for her from beginning to the end. I am starting book 3 now.

What a tragedy. The brilliant author that wrote this trilogy died young and before his genius was recognized. The only regard we can given him now, a decade too late, is to read them with the rapped attention they deserve - and to spend a moment to honor his unacknowledged skill that he should have received in life.

So much love❤️. This is my favorite Trilogy. All of the books are insanely good. I struggled with the first book. Learning all the characters, locations, and getting through the first few chapters. By the time I got to the second book I was hooked. Barely left the house until I finished all three. They will always have a place in my heart.

Slow start but immediately grabs your full attention. I'm sad it ended. Thankfully i have the third installment to ease my pain. It's a must read!!!! Read the full series, I promise you won't be disappointed ☺

Not as good as the first.... ...but does a decent job of answering some leftover questions. Worth the read, just don't expect too much and you'll be satisfied.

The Bar was Set Too High. 200 pages into the first book, ‘The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo’, I couldn’t put it down. I finished the rest of the remaining 400+ pages in a matter of days. 200 pages into this book, it took me 2 months to finish the remaining 400+ pages. I agree with many of the negative reviews on here. It was unnecessarily detailed with unimportant information, drawn out as if this was the third & final book of the trilogy, & I really didn’t feel connected to any of the characters like I did with the first book. The first book set the bar really high. I was greatly disappointed. RIP Stieg Larsson, thank you for the amazing first book either way.

Better than first in the trilogy!. I thought Girl with Dragon Tattoo was very good but not great. This one was great! On to the third book...

Great read!. I just finished this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. It flowed better than the previous book and didn't take as long to really get into the action. The beginning may not have had much to do with the plot but it was more interesting than the previous installment's beginning. There were a lot of surprises that I loved! I can't wait to read the 3rd!

Nice follow up!. I enjoyed this book as much as the first. Gets off to a quick start, and make sure you pay attention to all the names thrown at you because it can get confusing. A different kind of story than Dragon Tattoo, but very entertaining!

Great storyline. The series itself is really intriguing. One improvement from the first book that I greatly appreciated were that there weren’t as many run-on sentences. I do have to take away at least one star because of how drawn out the book is. I found it hard to get through the first half of this book because most of the pages were filled with grueling details about what each character’s surroundings looked like or what they did. I didn’t need to know EVERY piece of furniture that Lisbeth bought from IKEA and I couldn’t care less what the name of the specific style of chair was called every time she sat in it! At one point, there were over six pages in this iBook describing a single detective’s search of a crime scene just to finally say that a piece of evidence was missing 🙄 At some point, the story picks up and begins to unfold. That’s when you’re hooked. After reading the last page, I felt that my time was well spent. Granted, I quickly skimmed pages that I deemed unnecessary. All in all, I would encourage anyone to read on in the series if they’re up for the task.

Good, but wordy.. This was a good read. It kept you guessing almost to the very end. But it was extremely wordy with the expansive descriptions and took the first 300 pages to really get the action started. Book was good, but probably could've accomplished the same goal in half the pages. I've heard book 3 is a much better and faster read. Here's hoping..
