The Associate. I thought it was a overall good book. Except for the ending.

Gripping..... For a bit. The Firm was the book that hooked me into becoming a "reader!!" So I have always been a Grisham fan.... This was right along the lines of some of his best, such as The Firm and The Partner..... BUT..... C'mon!!!! As reviews have mentioned, the ending is not good. But how can we really say that!!! There simply IS no ending! So, like all great cliffhanger movies, shows, etc., I'll simply wait for part 2 of this great book!! Hopefully sooner than later!!!

The Associate. This book was totally exhilarating, I don't care what the critics say! As an avid reader of John Grisham, I've read everyone of his cloak and dagger novels. This is right up there with the best of them. Some say the book simply ends, this is not true in my opinion. As a social worker, I know the difference between ending and closure. The main character definitely finds closure in his own way. This was another book that I simply could not put down. It held my interest all the way to the end, which was not predictable at all.

Best book EVER. I'm 42 and engineer this has to be the best book I have ever read.

Great read. I am usually one who bores easily while reading. The story had me hooked in no time and never once did I lose interest. I completed the novel in about a week. Never once did I dose off while soaking in the story. I absolutely loved it!

Good...except for the ending. This could have been one of Mr. Grisham's best works had he not rushed the conclusion to meet his annual deadline.

Great Book.. As always, John Grisham has another amazing book. This one in particular starts a little quicker than some of his previous books. Great read!

Almost there. I enjoyed the book, for as far as it went. When I ran out of pages I thought I hadn't downloaded all of the chapters. I discovered that the book ended, but the story didn't.

Room for improvement. Don’t recommend this one. Story kept me reading as I waited for it to come together. It never came together for me. He expected his father to blow up upon informing him-he didn’t. Their interaction was surprisingly undramatic after the buildup. The female lawyer Mike was supposed to be ferocious. She wasn’t. A strange unsolved murder of a trust fund kid and the suggestion of partner mutiny wasn’t enough information. I’m ok with some mystery at the end so the reader can draw their own conclusions but this one didn’t provide it. Grisham is an engaging author but I think there was room for much improvement on this one.

????. His stories are amazing!! I am getting tired of a no real ending. It’s like this story just stopped. I wish I would not have read it. Quite frustrating.

Associates. Great plot with a few, “No he didn’t” parts. But all in all a great read.

B+. Typical Grisham, predictable but fun to read.

Hated the ending. Good read but I needed more to the ending.

WORST John Grisham EVER!. Please do not waste your time. This book is a joke. Nothing is resolved at the end. A character escapes and we do not find out why?!? Ridiculous!

Good. I consider myself as Grisham's #1 fan. I love his work, and this isn't the exception, but there's no ending. Dissapointing.

Good storyline, bad ending. The storyline was great, but the ending, or lack there of, was a bit of a disappointment.
