Sad. But very good

have yet to find anything that compares. as i am now on my 3rd reread through the whole series i think you can imagine how much i love Robin Hobb’s work. no series has ever spent as much time in my heart and my mind as these. Every character means so much to me. they are my friends, my family, my lovers, and my enemies. forever my favorite series

Excellent. This was a great trilogy. You know how some books take a while to build momentum? Well, this trilogy, for me, slows down towards the end quite a bit but already hooked and have to finish obviously. I recommend it just be prepared to work for the end.

Magnificent. Powerful, soul-stirring, deeply imagined, and beautifully constructed.

Fantastic. A very in-depth and interesting grim book. One of the best series I have ever read. The author clearly knows what she is writing about and it shows in this story.

Far too slow. The story is good but frustrating. It is far too slow so much is filler and a waste. Too many spoilers. Characters too underdeveloped and perceived as foolish. Not at all riveting as the first one only the last chapters compare

Royal Assassin. Hobb, Feist, Eddings. Equals in their field. Amazing stories brought to life in my imagination.

Another well - crafted adventure. The young assassin returns, matures, and delights. The characterizations are deep and consistent, and although the layers of the tale part slowly, there is enough action to balance the development of the plot. Extremely well written and imagined.

Price goes up. Annoyed that after reading the first book in this series at 1.99 the second book went from 5.99 to 8.99. Wouldn't doubt that this app is increasing the price of books in the genre I prefer. Think I need to renew my library card..

Silly. Uninteresting characters, poor character development, and simple plot line.
