Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella Book Summary

With the same wicked humor and delicious charm that have won her millions of devoted fans, Sophie Kinsella, author of the #1 New York Times bestseller Shopaholic & Baby, returns with an irresistible new novel and a fresh new heroine who finds herself in a life-changing and utterly hilarious predicament….

When twenty-eight-year-old Lexi Smart wakes up in a London hospital, she’s in for a big surprise. Her teeth are perfect. Her body is toned. Her handbag is Vuitton. Having survived a car accident—in a Mercedes no less—Lexi has lost a big chunk of her memory, three years to be exact, and she’s about to find out just how much things have changed.

Somehow Lexi went from a twenty-five-year-old working girl to a corporate big shot with a sleek new loft, a personal assistant, a carb-free diet, and a set of glamorous new friends. And who is this gorgeous husband—who also happens to be a multimillionaire? With her mind still stuck three years in reverse, Lexi greets this brave new world determined to be the person she…well, seems to be. That is, until an adorably disheveled architect drops the biggest bombshell of all.

Suddenly Lexi is scrambling to catch her balance. Her new life, it turns out, comes complete with secrets, schemes, and intrigue. How on earth did all this happen? Will she ever remember? And what will happen when she does?

What ending?. I really like how caught up you get in the story (in all her books)...but the ending in this one just did not wrap up the story enough.

Desperately hoping for a sequel !!. I adored Lexi and more importantly I absolutely loved how this book unfolded as she was learning more about the life she had forgotten due to an accident creating amnesia. PLEASE Sophia, create a series with Lexi, Fi and all her friends as well as her PERFECTLY suited love she ends up with!

So fun!. This was one of my first Sophie Kinsella reads and it got me hooked to her writing. Cute characters, easy read, and enjoyable story.

Great escape. Put some fun in your day with the stress reducing story.

Remember Me. I'm a sucker for a good romantic comedy, which this one certainly is from start to finish. It has a surprising poignancy, as well, which is not always found in this type of story. Loved it!

Remember me?. Easy to read..and fun!!

Thumbs down. It seems like the book just stopped… no actual ending. Like a boring story building up to nothing.

Remember me?. So, when I read the first few chapters, I was a little bored because I thought it would be the usual I-have-amnesia-then-suddenly-I-remember-everything-and-I-live-happily-ever-after story but no. It wasn't exactly like that. It has its own edge and in the end, I liked it. I love how Sophie writes and it makes me want to read her other stories, which I will definitely do! So, in conclusion, I say this is a feel good story:)

Remember me?. Entertaining and worth buying.

Good quick and funny. I've made it though all of Sophie's non shopaholic books awaiting the newest anxiously! This was a fun read, classic Kinsella with an out loud laugh on every page. Very interesting view on literally getting a fresh start on your current life, a situation we all would consider most days! Definitely a strong recommendation to anyone considering!!

loved it! :). fun, easy going and hilarious! makes reading time like a little vacation from your day, something to look forward to

Great!. Loved this book. Sophie's done another good job at keeping the book funny, romantic, and leaving the reader wanting more!

Overall a pretty good book.. Remember Me? definately contains the standard charm Sophie Kinsella includes in all of her books. It had her typical-but-never-boring pattern of multiple conflicts that fit together into a more interesting ending than was to be expected. However, I wouldn't call it her greatest book. The plot was verging on mediocre throughout, and it didn't quite live up to the expectations I had when I picked up a Kinsella book. I loved every word she wrote in the Shopaholic series - Becky Bloomwood is better than any other character in any other book in existance. I read through all six Shopaholic books, thinking that I couldn't like any of her other books more, so why bother reading them? I've Got Your Number was the first stand alone novel of hers that I read. It also was fantastic. So I decided to go back and read Can You Keep a Secret?, The Undomestic Goddess, Remember Me? and Twenties Girl. I own all four and just picked Remember Me? at random. I can honestly say that it was my least favorite Kinsella, but I'd still give it a 9.8 out of 10. This book is by no means a waste of time or money and it's impossible to hate. It's a great read for Kinsella fans, but I wouldn't read it first if you haven't read any of her other books yet.

Totally fab!. Sophie Kinsella is my favorite chic-lit writer. Her writing style makes reading her books feel so effortless that I finished this book in particular in 2 days. If you are a fan of Sophie Kinsella's books, you should definitely check this one out!

Entertaining. Uno de Los libros mas faciles de leer, me tomo tan solo 3 Dias leerlo, muy entretenido.

Best book ever. I LOVE THIS BOOK IT'S AMAZING!!!! Worthy of every star!

Remember Me?. Finished this in 2 days - so entertaining! The main character, Lexi, is particularly very well written.

Remember me?. This isn't my typical read to be honest. I'm usually a sucker for love stories, which some may consider this one, but it is the first one that I have read that has kind of had a comical feel to it. On many occasions I found myself laughing and smiling throughout the book. It has turned out to be one of my favorite books and I have read it more than once:)

Bittersweet. As usual, Kinsella gets points for her writing, however I found the ending disappointing and sad amidst the heroine's apparent triumph.

Great!. Loved everything about this book! Another I just couldn't put down.

Great book. This book make me happy great writing 😍😍😍

Great Book!. I read this book years ago and I really loved it. Just saw that it was on BookBub and thought I would come here and write a review about it.

Page turner!. Very exciting, fun read. My first time reading this author. Going to find another book by her right now.
