It’s alright.. In my opinion the book was alright. Since I am not really the type of person who wants to fit in all the time I could not really identify with the protagonist which bothered me throughout the book. Also I thought that Stargirl and Leo acted like twelf year olds instead of juniors. Might be just my opinion but all in all nicely written.

Such an amazing book!. I read it back in 7th grade and it was ok. I read it again a few days ago and now I understand it. It's so heartwarming and touching, I almost was in tears at the end! I loved it. Would definitely recommend it!

Makes you believe in mankind. This book was a read along with my 11year old. However, I found myself flipping though the pages faster than I anticipated, especially after it garnered praise from him. Much like the characters of the book, I was held in awe and wonderment of Stargirl. At a time when conformity abounds and my son's age group seeks to find themselves, this book is relatable. I am glad it encourages individuality, giving each kid the courage to shine bright. I find myself practicing random acts of kindness. Everyone can benefit from that! Great read.

Stargirl. This is an amazing story of a girl who tries to be no one but her true self. In a world like ours sometimes that can be the hardest thing especially if you're in high school. She has a spirit that surprises you again and again and makes you just wish you could have someone a little like her in your life, a friend. The beauty in Stargirl is her bravery to never really conform to what her community is telling her to be like, even if it means standing alone in a world that can be so judgmental and cold. Not to be cheesy but the last few pages just makes you shed a tear or two. Happy reading!

Wow.... I read this book in little over an hour, and I have no words. It hits you hard in the face as you realize how much a part of "them" you truly are. Fitting in and being part of the status quo is what everyone seemingly wants, but the only way to change that is to be someone different. Stargirl does that; it makes you want to be different and kind and giving. Read this book - you won't regret it. I promise.

Amazing!. Stargirl is one of my favorite books!! It’s heartwarming tale of nonconformity and popularity is sure to be a favorite of yours. Leo and Stargirl’s relationship is heartwarming as well. I read this after watching the amazing movie on Disney Plus and am very pleased to say that I couldn’t put the book down!! I would definitely recommend!

Speechless..... Dude like I loved it so much I’m about to freaking cry right now. WHY DID SHE HAVE TO MOVE AWAY why why whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I wish she stayed with Leo and they got married and had a family and crap but NOOOOOOOOOO she left.... So many emotions went through me while reading this, I felt joy when she did good deeds I felt embarrassed for the kids who got sung to in the lunch room I felt sadness when Leo went to her house and saw the for sale sign..... That’s it I need awhile to process this in my brain I think I’m gonna go cry now 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Ok I’m good now. I just wanna say this makes me wanna be more like her I wanna do what she does for other people and I don’t know why they hate her for being probably the kindest friggin person on this entire planet. I wanna be like stargirl ⭐️

Hard pass. Dull unlikable character that seemed “quirky” for the sake of quirkyness. Really tried to give this series a chance but couldn’t bear to read through Stargirls ramblings for more pages. Hard pass.

My favorite book. I read this about 2 years ago or so and I can still remember it vividly and I know one thing for sure.. I love this book and after reading it, it has changed my life(not to be cliché.) When you have a favorite book it's your favorite because you can relate and have deep emotional similarities to the character. I was a lot like Stargirl in my opinion and and just her personality was just something that I really wanted to be and have. You should read this book I highly recommend.

Good read for young teens. This was the first book I read as a freshman in high school. It was pretty good and interesting. It's a little short that's all.

Star girl. Star girl really captures what life is like as a kid,and how things change when you grow up. It talks about how to be normal, how to fit in. Early in this book I didn't know how to describe It, Now I know, it was a story of friendship,love,adventure,change,laughter,and confidence. Most people would think that this book is just about a girl, just a normal girl, who goes by a weird name,but it is much more than that. It really captures your heart as you read about this one girl known as Susan,Pocket mouse but most commonly, Star Girl
