Great book!. This is a very informative and helpful book
Limited Perspective. This book totally dismisses the idea of visual dyslexia, which goes against some current research on the subject.
Superb & science-based book on dyslexia. Did you know that physicians, neuroscientists, and others know how to teach your dyslexic child to read well? As Yale med school professor Dr. Sally Shaywitz explains in this book, multisensory structured language instruction is what's needed and, sadly, few public school teachers provide it or have learned how to provide it. Yale, Johns Hopkins, University of Colorado, University of Texas, Wake Forest, and many other universities have contributed to the excellent NIH research on the subject.
