Couldn't stop reading. A great realistic insight into the world of special ops! Really enjoyed the journey from start to finish, and I am in awe of the training and tests these warriors endure. A great read!!!!

Excellent story's. This is an excellent book. The inspiring story through the eyes of an American hero. From his childhood to his career change, the stories hit on every emotion. Based on this book Mr. Wasdin is a true hero and perfect role model to be given the upmost respect and gratitude. Thank you for serving in our armed forces.

SEAL Team 6. I don't get alot of time to read these days with work, family, and friends, but I could not put this book down. I have always beed interested in the SEALs after watching a series on the Military channel, but to get a first hand experieince of a SEAL mission was awesome. For a child to have to undures such trama as a child usually molds that person in the wrong direction in life. To his credit, he is a loving father that can show love for his kids while recieving none as a child. Awesome book. Must read.

Seal Team Six: Memoirs of an Elite Navy SEAL Sniper. Outstanding book ! Seriously the best book on Navy SEALs (ST6) to be exact. The real hard cover book has about 260 pages, (not to sure but around that number) but when reading the e-book on an iPhone it's 1045 pages due to the smaller screen so don't be surprised if you read about 150 or 200 pages at a time it's only because, the pages are smaller, but it's still the same as if your reading the real book. I was able to finish the book in about two (2) weeks, it was just to good of a book to put down. The story is great detailing the life of Dr. Howard E. Wasdin as a child all the way through BUD/S, SEAL Team 2 and 6 up to the present on his life as a chiropractor and detailing his family life and combat battles and injuries. If your looking for a great book on the life inside an ST6 operative, and reading actual facts about The Battle of Mogadishu a.k.a. "Black Hawk Down" through real experiences then Seal Team Six by: Howard Wasdin is an absolute perfect book for you !

Awesome. This book is the greatest book that I have ever read!!!!!!!!

This guy is a jarhead.... ...but I love him. Such a great story of a life lived to its fullest. I could go on, but to sum it up, I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in learning about the life of a true hero in every respect. A brilliant person who found his own direction in life. He learned to be tough the hard way, and found that love and affection can be discovered if one is willing to allow it to be discovered. This is not just a book about Navy Seals, but about a man whose journey just gets started when all seems lost. A fascinating read.

SEAL Team Six. This excellent work is entertaining but, more importantly, inspiring, and makes you proud and thankful to be an American. May God bless all of these brave warriors to whom we owe so very much.

Love this book. This was a great book. I read it for school and it was just awesome. There were no slow parts in the book and I couldn't put it down. Great book!!!

Amazing Read. I don't read much for pleasure mainly because I have to keep up on technical material based on my aviation career. With that being said i feel this is a must read, and I really had a difficult time putting it down. I went through every emotion as a human being as I progressed further and further into this eye opening book. What it takes to become a SEAL starts way before BUDs, and after the initial training is done it never stops....like a roller coaster that's kill switch has been disabled! Realizing how tough I'm not, this sacrifice and commitment these men make to their country is far beyond anything that your ordinary citizen can comprehend or appreciate for that matter. God Bless the Fighting Elite both living and decreased. I thank you from the bottom of my heart !

Seal Team 6. Wow, fascinating, exhilarating and page burning. I read it 150 - 200 pages at a time. Makes you feel like you're laying there in the prone position right next to them with one eye looking down the sight and the stock resting against your cheek. You get to KNOW Howard and you get to both cheer for him and cry with him. Forget the movie, find out what really happens when the perpetual feces hits the oscillating wind machine. This book will hook you on a new genre, leaving you wanting for more. If you've never read a military biography, especially from a ground combat vet, buy this book. Seal Team Six is the real deal.

Seal team six. Very good well written . As an ex military man who was in the service in the mid 60's I really enjoyed the book.

Grateful to Seal Team 6!. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Black Hawk Down few years ago & when I saw Wasdin's Seal Team Six, I knew it had to read as well & I was not disappointed. Full of action, compassion & dedication, Howard's writing is easy to read & makes me feel very proud of & grateful for these hard working, amazingly fit individuals. His story also highlights the importance of TEAMWORK & what can happen when it works & when you do not have a team. I am also reminded that there are as many sides to any situation as there are individuals & Howard's seal training prepared him for all of those sides. Glad he is still around & he was able to write his story.

Heroic and inspiration; right up there with Lone Survivor. The inspirational story of a true American hero. Very detailed behind the scenes look at one of the most elite fighting forces in the world.

SEAL Team Six. Excellent read. I opened the book expecting a huge ego but found quiet the opposite. To become a Navy Seal it takes an extreme amount of self confidence. This often leads to egos and self importance. The author opened up to his flaws as a husband and father but was truly committed to his comrades. To leave the only thing he knew how to do and find a new life of happiness is an amazing story.

Seal Team Six. This book was great. The author was able to paint the picture of his experiences throughout his military career. The book gave me a better perspective on how much these guys go through and it has helped me apply some of the mental principles in my day day operations. This book is easy to follow and it can be hard to put down at times. Thank you for your service to our great nation!!

Amazing book!. Had a hard time putting this book down once I started it. Incredible story retold through the eyes of a sniper. I learned so much about the elite fighting unit and all of the baggage that comes along with becoming the best of the best.

Must Read. An exceptional account of an elite U.S. Marine and the journey to making it into the Seal Team Six team. An excellent read and wonderful book.

Explosive, must read. Amazing details of the life of a Navy Seal through his years of training! Absolutely must read!

Awesome. I like this book a whole lot better than Lone Survivor. Lone Survivor is more political and doesn't give a detailed, explanation it just explains more political things not what happened on the mountain.

Wow. One of the best reads in a long time!! You must buy this book, it will change your life or at least give perspective to people who fight and die for us. Thank you all my fellow shipmates and battle buddies!!

Great read!. What an awesome book. It's an easy read that is clear and concise and I couldn't put it down.

SEAL Team 6- Pretty good. I just finished reading it and i noticed many of the reviewers didn't like the part about his first wife cheating on him. it was a small part at the end of a chapter. it wasn't like he only talked about it. what he said was that while he was gone his wife cheated on him and his relationship with his daughter grew very weak. thats it. Now in reference to the book, it was very informative. i found it especially interesting that the movie Black Hawk Down was based on the operation Wasdin took part in. In my opinion it is a good book and went into great detail about how hard he trained. In my opinion it is good read.

Seal Team Six. I loved this book up to the point where he described the fight at the Body Shop. Then the BS flag went up. I have been a Norfolk Police officer for over 34 years and if a fight of that epic proportions had occurred in Norfolk I would have heard about it. We talk about our battles just like the Seals do. A fight with multiple police officers hurt and a K9 dog hurt would be talked about for years and I have never heard of a fight like he described. So I went to the man who owned the Body Shops (there were four of them in Norfolk all owned by the same man) and I had him read the section about the fight. He said no fight like that ever happened in or around his clubs. I think Mr. Wesdin is a great man who has done many great things. I do not know if he was ever really in a fight at the Body Shop or not but if he was the story is embellished and he didn't need to do that. If that story is embellished then how much more of the book is embellished too? Otherwise it was a good read.

Not just a killing machine.... A gripping read that goes beyond killing, showing that our nation's elite warriors are smart and have a moral compass. He illustrates that too often politicians fail to measure up to the task of leadership. I also give credit to the author for *not* trashing people by full name. (The exception being public figures whose every decision is out there for citizens to judge.) The author provides insight into training, preparation, and mission execution of the best of the best.

Awesome book. The inspiring story of Howard Wasdin, a true American Warrior. From childhood to his time as a Navy SEAL, and his current life as a chiropractor, this book keeps you hooked from the first page to the last. I finished this book in a few days, which is uncharacteristic for me. I highly recommend this book.

This is an excellent book describing the trials and tribulations of a Navy Seal...It puts in human terms the utter dedication the operators have to their country and fellow Seals..It also shows the devastation it has on their personal lives and families...Well written and worth reading...
