Great Read!. I've been a fan of Lincoln Child because he never fail to entertain, and this sure does that! It has also imparted knowledge of Egyptology. His books always seem to be well researched. Keep reading!

the third gate. I loved the story, but in two locations, the pages repeated and one chapter just ended mid sentence. I've never had an issue or a bug on an iBook but these stories I don't want to missable single word.

Plot as dead as King Tut.. Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child do great work together, and Cabinet of Curiosities was my favorite of the Pendergast series. So naturally I picked up this thriller from Mr. Child and who doesn't like a good tomb raider novel? I 'm not impressed. It seems the author couldn't make up his mind about anything- the plot, the characters- all that stuff that makes up a readable thriller. It's so lazy and predictable I could've written a better novel on my iPhone- which it seems like I am to describe how utterly tepid this story is. Reads like a deadline snuck up on him.

Awesome book. Lincoln child is a master storyteller. I haven't finished reading yet but the book is awesome!

The Third Gate: a submerging story. Though fiction, The Third Gate forces the reader to submerge ones self into the historic 'semi' facts and riveting character builds accompanied by a gripping story line. A must read for any mystery enthusiast.

Third Gate. I think Lincoln Child is a better writer with Douglas Preston. This was a real disappointment

The Third Gate. A fast paced page turner that blends ancient history with Indiana Jones adventure and modern day science. Hopefully the key characters will return in future novels.

About as thoghtful as an episode of Scooby-doo. This book is terrible. The plot barely makes sense. The characters are badly developed and key parts of the storyline make no sense. I was not expecting anything more than beach reading, but this is a poorly done book. This is one of those rare times when I feel like I wasted my money on a book.

The third gate. I really enjoyed this book, there is little put out by Lincoln Child that I don't like. It was kind aggravating that in iBook form it cut of the bottom of every page .But still a fast paced, adventure,would like to see more of Logan . Not has good as the Pendergast books, but still enjoyable. Thanks Lincoln for a great evening read

The Third Gate. I am barely into this book and the sloppy printing is annoying me so much I can't get into the book. The top of the pages all have black marks and the last sentence has the bottom parts of letters cut off. Was this book rushed to the printers or what?

Disappointment. His jointly written novels are awesome. He is obviously the weak link....

C+. I was so needing a good book. Dang! The characters were one shallow, the plot was transparent, and the "spooky ancient spiritual" malarkey was, ... Well, malarkey. C+ for a first novel. Oh, not a first novel? Then, no excuse.

Boysmumas. Excellent read. Edge of your seat from beginning to end. Great plot and exciting throughout. Will recommend this book to anyone who wants a great thriller.

The Third Gate. A great page turner that keeps the reader thoroughly involved and wanting more until the amazing conclusion! Such vivd details that provide the reader with wonder mental images. One can only hope that there are more such creations in the future.

Good for a long ride and you forgot the book you wanted. Starts out just to slow and really doesnt take off. Lost my attention due to that. Then it becomes predrictable .

As expected. This book was a great read. It was exactly what I have come to expect from lincoln child. Page turning, thought provoking, and exciting. The curve ball he throws you in this one, is one of the better twist in a novel I have read in years.

VERY Interesting. Loved the old Egyptian angle with the supernatural. Think the ending was meh.

Third Gate is 1st rate!. Another terrific Lincoln Child novel! I was hooked on Thunderhead several years ago and have read all of Mr. Child's other novels as a result. Could not put this book down. Just an awesome story.

On the edge of my seat.. This book kept me guessing from start to finish. It is very well written the story although complex, is very easy to follow. All the twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I would definitely recommend it as a twisted modern day Indiana jones / meets sci-fi twist.

Good book but....... This is an interesting book. But like so many novels the end is a great anti-climax and disappointment. I don't understand why so many authors feel that the end needs to be rushed and abrupt after 300+ pages getting there!

Third gate. Don't buy. It's missing a lot of pages and many pages are duplicates very frustrating
