The Author That Got Me Reading Again. This series was incredible. I've dreamt about these books. Thought about them in depth. Just wanted to say thanks for writing such an incredible, gripping, thrilling series! Can't wait for the next one in 2016.

Great read. After reading this book for a while I found myself looking at how many pages were left because I didn't want it to end. I wish this book was 1000 pages longer so it could have gone into more detail on the ending points.

Great Book with One Gripe. I am very pleased with this book, as it has held up to the high standards set by his previous works. My only gripe would be the lack of focus on 'Kil' and the other main characters from the previous books but, I hope to see another installment in this series.

Great Book. Best book I've read all year.

Ugh... on the ending. I enjoyed this trilogy. The author kept it very real and the active military references were great. This book was the most developed from a plot line and subplots. It kept me enthralled for most of the book. Unfortunately the last few chapters seemed very rushed with an ending that was much too curt. I hope the author plans a final book to explore what happened.

A must read for any Day by Day fans!!. I was a bit sceptical about how he ended the last book. But he pulled it off in this one. There's a decent amount of army/government/human and personal elements to the book. It is very different in its style to the others. This is not in diary form. But in third person to various people's stories all told overlapping one another. BUT it is done really well and didn't put me off. I didn't put it down and finished it on my day off work. And I shall be reading it again soon no doubt! And the ending is beautifully done........... Basically what happens is.................................................... Nah, I wouldn't do that! ;)

Not impressed. Completely different style of book to the first two in this series- no longer has the same feeling of being in the apocalypse with the main character. Sadly another generic bunch of cack, I expected more Bourne!!!

Best yet!. This man is up there with the likes of Koontz, King and Herbert. He gives such insight into the world or a military officer but also terrifies with the story of the walking dead! So well written, as the first two books were but exceeds them both for sheer terrifying page turning thrills. I wish I was years ahead so I could read his back catalogue. As it is, I was counting the days until December 26th, for this book! Just for the record, I was told to read world war z and if I liked it, then to read these. This is far better than world war z! I honestly didn't want to read zombie books, but thanks to Mr Bourne, I am very very addicted! Cannot wait for more from this author.

Great page turner. A fun fast rip roaring zombie good time

Wow!. The third instalment of DBDA did not disappoint. The format of the narrative changed in this book. It was jarring at first but I quickly got into the groove. I recommend this series to anyone I know that reads books. JL Bourne deserves the support. I can't wait to see what's next from the author!!!
